BIRTHDAY SLEEPOVER

We all song at the top of our voices to 'Girls want Girls' by DRAKE as we each had a shot of tequila in our hand.
We all took the shot and raised our cups up.

"Babe, we're low on drinks" Blessing yelled into my ear.

I signaled to Precious to organize more drinks and she immediately reached for her phone.

Blessing cheered as she pulled my hand to drag me into the centre of the room.
I could tell by the Smile on her face that she was her happiest.

"Drinks!" Precious yelled as she opened the door.

Damn that was quick.
HOLY SHI- Michael is here. Why would she ask him to bring the drinks.

But woah-
How does a human being look this perfect.
All he wore was a hoodie and sweatpants which F.Y.I is my weakness.

I took 3 more shots before I made my way into the kitchen.

"Is that everything?" I heard Precious ask as I walked up to them.

"Yeah, if you need more ring me." He replied.

Precious walked out leaving the two of us alone in the kitchen.
We stood in silence. As always.

I couldn't think of a more awkward situation than this.

"Aren't you gonna say hi? He asked.

"Pffft! If you're waiting for me might as well wait for rapture to come ."

"Why are you so stubborn Jess?" He asked as he walked in front of me causing us to face each other.

"Wait, you know my name?"

He knew my name which means he thinks about me which also means I matter!

"I just guessed." He replied.

NO SHIT SHERLOCK.

I'm fighting the urge to not ask him to stay for the sleepover because then I'd just be creating drama but deep down I knew I wanted to aggressively make out with this guy.

"I'm gonna take my leave now.." he said grabbing his car keys from the kitchen counter.

"Wait! I-I , y-you can s-stay?"

I forced the words out.

He slowly turned back facing me this time , closer.

"Do you want me to stay Jess?" He asked stepping even closer to me leaving a tiny gap between us.

"No...I mean If you want to" I said with my head faced down because I was nervous.

"I want you to look at me and tell me you want me to Stay Jess" he said with his finger under my chin lifting my head up to look him in the eyes.

Damn this nigga is sexy.

"Say it."

"Fine. I want you to stay Mike!" I said looking him deep in the eyes.

Finally our bodies made contact and he slowly and gently wrapped his arms around my waist.
I felt a chill up my spine.
I could swear we were about to kiss until...

"TRUTH OR DARE GUYS ! EVERYONE IN THE LIVING ROOM!"

Blessing called.

Blessing seemed surprised to see Michael and I walking out of the kitchen together.
There's something she's not telling me I can just feel it...but we'll sort that out later.

"Oh Michael I didn't know I Invited you?" She said sarcastically.

"I asked him to stay. I Hope that's not a problem Bless?"

"Whatever let's play shall we", she said as she held a bottle of Tequila in her hand.

I sat on the couch facing Michael giving me a good view of him.

He didn't stop staring.
Literally.
Throughout the game he stared at me with those bedroom eyes.

We were halfway through the game.

It was Michael's turn to pick. I was really hoping we would not choose to be dared because it was Precious daring him.

"Dare." He replied.

**Queue the eye roll.**

GREAT! knowing my cousin she'd probably dare him to kiss me.

"I dare you to pick one girl in this room,EXCLUDING ME and spend the next hour in a room together," Precious asked with a daring look at me.

"Blessing. I choose blessing."

BLESSING!
WAIT WHAT?

The room went silent.
If a pin could drop at this point we'd hear it.

"Wow okay. Well , Blessing and Michael see you in the next 60 min." Precious said as surprised as I was.

"Nope. IM NOT GOING IN A ROOM WITH HIM." Blessing said standing up from her seat.

"Uhmmm yes you are. ITS A DARE" Precious replied.

"Uhmm and I'm saying NO!" She said standing up from her chair about to walk out

"Bless wait!," I called.

I grabbed her by her wrist whispering into her ear to calm her down.

"It's just an hour. I won't be mad. You can go with him as long as you don't end up on top of him we're good" I said ,earning a giggle from her.

I didn't want to be the one to spoil the fun all because I have a crush on this guy.

She took a few seconds to consider it.

"Ugh fine." She said making her way to a room.

Michael followed.

"WOW OKAY WHO'S NEXT?" Precious asked killing the awkward silence.
