Chapter Thirty-Two

She gags like she's about to throw up.

China ain't got no gag reflex..

I grab Monet by her hair, making her stand up.

"Get on the couch and bend over" I demand.

She does as told.

"Fuck me daddy" Monet begs with her ass in the air.

I went and got Dani two pregnancy tests..

She's definitely pregnant.

I told her that I would let her tell Red when she's ready because it's not my place to tell him anything.

Her eighteenth birthday is literally right around the corner..

The front door opens and in walks Dj.

"Where pops?" Dj questions, walking into the kitchen.

I watch as he grabs a soda from the fridge.

"I'm not sure, probably working" I tell Dj.

Dj nods, walking up the stairs..

I'm laying in bed watching Tv when Red walks into the room with four duffel bags.

"I called you like twenty minutes ago" I tell Red while sitting up.

"I'm sorry, I ain't see your call" Red apologizes, not making eye contact.

He sits the duffel bags on the floor.

Something's off....

"Where were you?" I ask curiously.

"Handling business" Red answers briefly.

I nod "Okay"

My phone begins to ring..

I look at my phone seeing no caller ID.

"Hello?" I answer, raising an eyebrow.

Someone moans into the phone.

"The fuck?" I speak confused.

"It's Monet, tell Red I said thanks for fucking me and leaving behind his semen.. we gone have a pretty baby" Monet says with a weird, evil laugh before hanging up the phone.

My heart feels like it fell into my ass.

"What's wrong?" Red asks, noticing the look on my face.

"You just fucked Monet?" I ask causing his eyes to widen a little, letting me know it's true.

"No I-" Red starts to speak but I cut him off.

"Save it!" I yell angrily as tears start to fall down my face.

"She said thanks for fucking her and leaving your nut behind, y'all gone have a pretty baby" I quote what Monet had said.

His mouth drops..

"I'm sorry" Red says softly, I can see the regret in his eyes.

I stand up, wiping my tears "I knew I should've chose Brent"

Reds regretful eyes to turn into anger..

"What?" Red asks with a growl.

"Nothing" I reply, instantly regretting what I said.

I'm just so hurt..

"Nah, say it again" Red says angrily, walking toward me.

"Red" I speak fearfully, backing into the wall as he gets into my face.

He just fucked his ex girlfriend and possibly got her pregnant but got the nerve to be mad at me?

"Get out of my face" I tell him, getting angry.

"What you gone do if I don't, call Brent?" Red asks provoking me.

I start to swing "Get the fuck out of my face!" I yell while hitting him.

He starts to hit me back and I fall to the ground.

"Go be with Monet!" I cry as he picks me up from the ground, slamming me into the wall by my neck.

"Maybe I will bitch. You had a whole relationship with Brent while I was in prison and you gone bring that nigga name up?!" Red asks angrily while squeezing my neck.

I can see the fury in his face.

"Red" I say barely above a whisper as a I start to lose consciousness.

I hear a click..

"Get your fucking hands off my mama" I hear Dj speak and Red instantly lets go of me..

I start to gasp for air...

When I'm finally able to breathe again, I see that Dj has a gun pointed at Red.

"Dj!" I yell, jumping in-front of Red.

"Where did you get that gun?!" I ask confused.

He ignores me, keeping his eyes on Red.

"You better start explaining and I mean fast" Dj tells Red with a trembling voice.

"Dj just put the gun down baby and we can talk, okay?" I cry in fear.

"Mama look at your face, you bleeding" Dj says with a single tear falling down his cheek.

Dani walks into the room and gasps at what she sees.

"It's not your dad's fault, I swear it's not" I tell Dj, defending Red.

He looks back and forth between Red and I before slowly walking backwards with his gun still pointed.

I watch as he walks past Dani and out of the door....

"Dj!" I call after him.

"He went downstairs" Dani says, looking out of the room door.

I hear the front door slam shut....

"He was about to kill me, I could see the look in his eyes" Red says in shock while sitting on the bed.
