The first night home wasn't a complete nightmare. The girls slept relatively well throughout the night, waking up every so often to be changed or fed.

The new parents, however, were running around as though the world were ending.

Feliciano and Lovino were having trouble setting the girls down. Antonio and Ludwig continuously bumped into each other in the halls, trying to prepare bottles.

Around two in the morning, the four of them finally managed to settle down. Feliciano rested his head on top of Maddalena's crib.

Lovino looked to him and sighed. "Are you okay?"

Feliciano took a second to respond.

"I don't know. Yes? No? I'm not sure yet. A lots happened in the past few weeks."

"I know, fratello." They were silent for a few moments. Ludwig stood up from his chair.

"I think we should try and get some actual rest."

They began filing out of the room, Lovino faltering a bit. He stared at Aurora's crib. Antonio grabbed his hand.

"She'll be okay. Aurora is a strong little girl."

"Yeah, she is. Okay."

The night continued on. The couples took turns taking naps and tending to their babies.

Maddalena woke up every two hours for a bottle.

Aurora woke up every thirty minutes.

Lovino rocked back and forth in his chair, cradling Aurora close to his chest. Ludwig walked in quietly as his daughter cried out.

He watched the German man's moves closely. He was swift, yet gentle.

Lovino set Aurora's bottle down and started patting her back. Ludwig looked down at him.

"Everything going okay?" "Si."

Lovino carefully placed Aurora back in her crib, stroking her face. He smiled at her.

"Oh, schieße!" Lovino turned quickly, and covered his mouth to keep himself from laughing.

Maddalena had thrown up. All over her father.

Lovino giggled as he took her and carried her to the changing table. He whispered to her once Ludwig was out of earshot.

"Va bene. I would have done the same thing if I were you."

She let out a yawn.

"Oh, yes, I agree. I'm very tired, too."

Lovino heard frantic foot steps come towards the room.

"Ecco che arriva il tuo papá." Maddalena smile. Feliciano hurried into the room.

"Maddalena sta bene? Luddy said she threw up the whole bottle."

"Si, she's doing great. Seemed happy to hear that you were frantically running in."

Feliciano rolled his eyes at him and picked up his daughter.

"Thank you for changing her."

"You're welcome. She's a cheerful little baby."

Feli smiled. "I know."

Maddalena was fed again after a few minutes, burped, then rocked back to sleep by Feliciano. He lay her down in her crib.

"Alright. Let's try to get back to sleep."

They officially started their day at nine o'clock. Feliciano and Lovino sat together on the couch listening to Antonio and Ludwig bicker at each other in the kitchen.

"Just cancel it, what's one more time?"

"We need to get caught up on worldly affairs."

Antonio crossed his arms. "Well, then just have everyone send in summaries of whatever to each other."

"Nein. I'm not reading all of that."

Feliciano snickered. Antonio and Ludwig continued.

"Okay. What about a virtual meeting?"

"Hmm."

He crossed his arms in thought.

"I can work with that. I'll send out an email in a few minutes."

Ludwig sat down beside Feli, smiling down at their baby. "Hallo, mein kleiner Stern."

Toni sat down on the floor in front of Lovino, stroking Aurora's hair.

"I'm so glad everything turned out okay."
