Soundwave on a particular day, had been feeling well with all the quietness on the Nemesis, he liked it quiet. He would've been happier with Y/n by his side, chatting about things she liked or about the weather, the feeling of the earth crust, how much she loved pranking the humans and Autobots, and etc.

He continued on with his work, decoding relic whereabouts, and making sure the ship wasn't breached by an Autobot. His peace and quiet was quickly interrupted by the sounds of laughter and talking. It made him irritated, knowing that someone had entered the area without at least letting him they were there. He turned to look who it was, then his irritation became jealousy.

Y/n was laughing with Shockwave instead of him!! Shockwave was listening just as well as he does. Soundwave's servo twitched wanting to strangle the other con.

"Hey Soundwave! How's the ship going? Good I assume?" Y/n's voice snapped Soundwave out from his hate-filled trance. His visor showed a thumbs up. "Awesome! I'll see you in a few earth hours! Then we can talk then!" To him, those words were an invitation to the All Spark itself. Soundwave nodded and then went back to his work. Y/n and Shockwave leave, Soundwave looking back to glare at Shockwave before he left, but seems he also had the same intention as Shockwave also glared back at him. The two glared at each other for a moment before Y/n called Shockwave, wondering where he had gone. Shockwave stared a little more at him before leaving.

Soundwave silently vented in anger. How could a random stranger that came just a few days ago capture Y/n's attention? Her attention was his before Shockwave came around, Soundwave hated to admit he had grown feelings for the talkative con. He couldn't help it, Megatron may have praised him on his work, but he never really talked to him. Y/n on the other hand(or servo?) had always found a way to make conversation, even if he never replied.

But it seems he had competition. Shockwave seemed to like her as much as he did, he seemed quite attached to her as he was. Soundwave hated that. he hated the idea of another con or bot loving Y/n as much as he loved her.

Soundwave wanted to tell her, he was sure she would accept. He was sure he would come in first as he was her first friend. He want- no NEEDED her. He needed to tell her or someone else might.

That night Soundwave decided to tell her, only, he would use his visor to tell her. He stalked the hallways to find her berthroom(Idk if it's canon or fanon but pretty sure it's fanon-). Soon after he found her room. But just as he was about to knock, someone grabbed his wrist. Soundwave slowly turned his helm to the owner of the servo. Shockwave. "It is illogical of you to disturb Y/n while she recharges." He spoke with a low voice.

Soundwave shook his servo off getting defensive. Shockwave held up his hand-gun. Soundwave stood, still as a rock. Then Shockwave fired his gun Soundwave managed to dodge most of the shots but was hit once, being an ex-gladiator he got back up quickly, sending Lazerbeak out, Shockwave noticed the mini-con missing from Soundwaves chest plates, he looked around for the mini-con, Lazerbeak then shot at Shockwave, almost hitting his optic.

Then, Y/n stepped out hearing a commotion. "What's going on?" She asked rubbing her optic. The two cons stopped their fight, Lazerbeak returning back to Soundwave. "Did something happen?" She asked nervously. Soundwave and Shockwave looked at each other, before looking back to Y/n.

The awkwardness of Soundwave and Shockwave in between a battle right in front of their crushes room. And for Y/n it was awkward because her two crushes were right in front of her room doing Primus knows what.

A simple heart shape appeared on Soundwaves visor. "I- We have grown fond. Of you, and it seemed illogical for the other to have you." Shockwave muttered. Y/n stood there shocked. Knowing how awkward it is she just stood there, touching her digits to distract her nervousness to tell them.

"Well, want to know something funny? Hehheh..." She muttered. The two stared at her. "heh.. The thing is, I like you both. And uh- You're both cool." She muttered the last part.

The two looked at each other before nodding. "So you accept our confession." Shockwave asked. He was basically looming over you and his low voice made her shiver. She slowly nodded, feeling very embarrassed about her situation.

"Very well, we will see you the next day then. Sweetspark." Shockwave spoke before leaving along with Soundwave, leaving her at her door.

"That was rather cheesy. Even for me." Knockout muttered.
