Scoping Out(Kinro and Hina) - Chapter 3: Take your time

Kinro's POV

I was asleep having a dream. This dream wasn't much different, it was more so a nightmare. Having that experience in Kabamo Co. underground, that dreadful fight...and just before it was about to end...there goes the sound of my alarm. It woke me right up before that moment happened, I'm half thankful for that. I get up to check the time and turn off my alarm, just to find it's about 5:30am.

Right on time, actually earlier if I say so. I'm gonna have some free time before I have to head back to Alterna. Cal and Mar are probably not gonna be there yet if I go now. I might as well get ready to go.

Following that thought I got up and started to get myself ready for the day. I did my normal routine of taking a shower, brushing my teeth, doing my morning stretches and making myself a breakfast . I decided to have some cereal this time as it was just faster, but nonetheless I ate. I turned on the TV as it gave the rundown for the news broadcast. As expected, there was not much of interest, just stages for battles coming this morning. I checked my phone for the Splatsville news as well, but same as here too. Just stages and other news. I later on finished my breakfast and grabbed my hero gear, which I always have to set in a separate bag cause I can't exactly wear this in public. After a final check I make my way out of the apartment to the train station, where is board the train to Splatsville.

I decided to check the time again and the group chat we have for NNS. Not a single message is sent so far in there. The time was about 5:50am now, way ahead of schedule. I decided to shoot a message to the chat and notify them of my early arrival.

<[Heads up y'all. I'm gonna be arriving at Alterna earlier than usual. Ken, Hina, Kyoko and Sana. I'll see you there.]

[And you'll forget about me too Kinro? You're not the only captain in here. I'll see you there too, since I'm also on my way there.]> Senna

<[Didn't think you'd be up as early. I didn't forget haha, but I'll see you there later.]

I wasn't expecting to be messaged by Senna as well, but at least I won't be the only one there. Good to at least have something to talk about rather then sit alone. That being said, the train finally hit its stop at 6 am at Splatsville. As I got off the train, the little jingle of Calamari Inkantation played before it departed again. Walking from the train to Splatsville square was neat, since it's was story sort of early there want too many people up yet. Using this time, I quickly made down over to Alterna without any delay. Once I made my way down and reached the snowy landscape of Alterna, I changed into my captain's outfit. Because I was the first and only one here, there wasn't much to do so I did some stretches.

Eventually, the next one to arrive was actually Senna at around 6:00am. She had arrived in her captain uniform already, but looked much more alive and ready than me. I guess that seems natural for her, but unfortunately I'm not much of a morning person.

"Hey hey, good morning to you Kin-Chan!" She yelled as she walked over to the base platform. "Up and early for once? That seems pretty unusual for you. Anything special going on with you, or you just felt like it?" She asked.
