Hina's POV
My alarm rang at about 10am, I had forgotten that I slept in today. That later than I'd like to wake up at, but you can't choose all things. I got up, took a shower and got dressed for today.
"I'm off for today." I said to myself before leaving my apartment.
As I walked down the stairs, I got a notification on my phone. I checked it, it was from the NNSS(New New Squidbeak Splatoon) group chat. Mainly from one of our captains, Captain Kinro.
Kinro <[Hey Hina, you awake yet? Need you to meet me in the plaza.]
I let out a little evil chuckle, plans are advancing ahead already. I texted her back with a evil smile.
[I was gonna ask you the same thing Kinro. I am awake so you know. I'm on the way hehe.]>
Isn't that swell, I never thought that I'd get a moment like that. Now the fun begins...
I made my way down into the plaza and waited around, catching a neat place to wait. I just played Squid Jump on my phone to kill the time.
"What should I plan, should I scare her when I see her?" I said to myself. "Nah, I'd probably get backhanded or something. It'd be funny."
Almost about 5 minutes later, I caught sight of Kinro. Jackpot. She hadn't noticed me yet, this is my chance.
I'll pull up on her with my special attack, the "Hehe sneak". Work in progress name, keeping the Hehe part. Here I go.
I made sure to not seem conspicuous as Kinro was walking along, she hadn't seemed to notice me yet...so I kept on going. I eventually got behind her view and creeped up on her. With a swift motion, I raised my hands up and jumped her.
"Hehe! Gotcha Kinro, guess who was caught lacking with me?" I said while laughing. "Should've expected this!"
As I laughed, my laugher soon got quieter from hearing Kinro. It didn't sound like laugher, it sent a chill down my spine. If I could describe it, it was a sound of rage.
"Hina...would you mind explaining to me, why?" Kinro said. She was very angry, the aura basically emanated from her. Demonic, scary.
"Y-You know how it is, you can't let your guard down against me!" I said fearfully in panic, but with a smile on my face.
I was scared out of my mind, curse my impulse to cause trouble. It's still funny, but damn is Kinro scary. She got in a strange stance and I stepped back in reflex.
