Minx (Book 1: Elements)

I felt my body being dragged across the cold cement floor. My vision was dark and black, I heard heavy breathing; like everyone in the Elemental Part run about 15 miles. I studied my breath, and took deep ones to make sure I'm alive. The air turned cold, and I heard a couple of gasps.

"Minx, get up. You need to go for our year." I heard a feminine voice. I forced my eyes to open; but my eyes didn't agree. I forced my eyes open once again, and I found myself staring at the opposite army I belong at. The Abilities. Abilities looked stressed and angry. Why at us? What did we do?

"I want all of your leaders to be up!" Someone from the Abilities yelled. I looked at the one who dragged me (and the one who's responsible for the stones and little rocks to scrap my body), who was Krism.

"Go, Minx. You're the leader of our year." Krism said to me. I looked at the my year; other people. They were looking at me, like they all secretly chosen me to be the leader for my year. I got up from the ground and joined with the leaders who were in the middle. I think I went up too fast; because blood rushed down quickly. I looked at the leader of Abilities. He was tall, alright. I looked at the leaders of our nation; there's Anthony, and someone else that I don't really know his name is. There was 3 leaders of Elements, and apparently, I'm one of them. I'm surprised that everyone else actually thought that I was good enough to be a leader. Like, I have no experience in Leadership; because I'm always alone and always away from people. Because I'll admit, that I don't like people so I push them away from me. Because, I don't really have time to talk to the other people; because all I'm doing is; Eating, Training and Sleeping. So really, I'm really anti-social.

4 guys come up; 3 of them were armed with special type of weapons and one of them; I'm assuming is the Leader of the Abilities.

"You have a girl as a leader, you're breaking the rules." The Leader of the Abilities announced. I knew he was talking about me, and I hate it. "Girls aren't suppose to be in the Elements at all! 99% of Girls are suppose to be in the Nons territory!" I got so angry that no one was going to defend me. So I decided to stand up for myself.

"Well, sometimes we like to go against the rules for the better right." I stepped up, not afraid of anything. I cross my arms, to act like an actual leader.

"Ah, Elements. You are the Leader of the City, you make the rules. How are you suppose to make others follow them; if you're not following yourself?" The Leader said.

"We didn't make the rules, Adam. You did, you whined about wanting to rule the city. But instead, you got to make up the rules!" The Leader of the Elements replied. That name burned into my head; Adam. That's the Leader of the Abilities' first name, Adam.
