A/n: sorry for skipping chapter 9 it's just that, I'm not a fan of that chapter and if I re-write that chapter for this story, then I would have to combine chapters 8, 9 and 10 and that would take too long, sorry
Anyway, let's get started with the chapter
It's been a few days since Alvin's attack to Berk and everything has come back to normal, except for one thing
An unknown dragon has been attacking the ships for a reason, as expected Stoick has been trying to get that dragon but every time that he arrives, the ship is already destroyed and that's because he always uses a ship to get to the place of the events
After another attack of the dragon, Hiccup, Toothless, Blake and I went to the docks to see how bad the damage was
When we arrived, the first thing that we saw was that Stoick, Gobber and other Vikings were pulling a damaged ship
"What happened?" Hiccup asked getting off Toothless
"It's that rogue dragon again, that's the second boat this week he's destroyed" Gobber explained
"How much of the catch was lost?" Blake asked
"The whole catch" Stoick said "We could've saved it if we had gotten there sooner"
"We know how you could've gotten there sooner" Hiccup said
"Here we go again" Stoick sighed
For a while, Hiccup has been trying to convince Stoick to get his own dragon, but he always refuses to
"If you flown there in a dragon, you could've been there in five minutes instead of two hours" Hiccup said
"And that could also be a way to get rid of that rogue dragon" Blake said walking next to Hiccup
"As chief of Berk I do the things the Viking way, not the Dragon way" Stoick said
"Is that supposed to be an offence or a compliment?" I asked
"I don't know, but I'm taking it as a compliment" Toothless said
"Well, the Viking way is costing us fish and almost as many boats" Hiccup said "The boys got a point there" Gobber said
"If you were on a dragon, you could protect Berk even from Alvin" Gobber said trying to convince Stoick
"Tell me about it" Blake muttered "If the few things that I can remember from him are true, he'll come back"
"Now imagine if you were the one commanding them" Gobber said "I'm listening" Stoick said interested
"I can see it now! A proud chief ruling his domain aboard a fire-breathing reptile" Gobber said proudly
Then, Blake shivered for some reason so we all looked at him "Sorry, it's just that the wrong image appeared in my mind and it gave me the creeps" he apologized
"You know what Gobber? I need to learn how to fly, when do we start the lessons?" Stoick said looking at Hiccup and Blake
"Well, I guess the sooner the better, right Hiccup?" Blake said and Hiccup only nodded, probably he's no believing what just happened

Moments later, we were at the edge of a cliff ready to start Stoick's flying lessons, the only problem is the he's going to ride Toothless, and he doesn't look too exited
