POLLY MAUREEN WAS NEVER ANY GOOD AT WRITING. That went for letters too, she could never quite say what she wanted to. Her words couldn't paint any picture or tug at any heartstrings. But she knew that soon Jeff wouldn't always be by her side, and it was already happening- even with his local shows.
She would have to learn to put every unruly and overwhelming feeling into words, in a sealed envelope with Jeff, so when the tours that were destined to happen begun, he'd have her words as a reminder of her love. She thought it was probably stupid of her to think that something that insignificant would matter to him, that she could probably come up with something better.
But for now, she was stuck writing love letters.
