"Don't dwell on it." He shrugged.

"You look beautiful." He complimented. "Breathtaking, as always."

"Thank you." I smiled.

"I actually wanted to tell you that yesterday but you were too preoccupied." He uttered. "Even today when you got here."

"You were at the party yesterday?" I raised my eyebrows and he nodded. "Why didn't you say anything? I didn't even notice you were there.."

"Like I said, preoccupied." He leaned back against the rails. "It's like you never notice anything when you're with him."

Him is definitely Kenny.

"If you fall inside the ocean then I'm not helping you out." I said as he sat on the rails.

"I won't fall."

"There's a whole fucking stamp here that says do not sit on the rails." I pointed it to him. "It even has a drawing if you can't read."

He chuckled. "You're cute."

"Well if I fall you'll catch me, hopefully this time." He muttered the last words to himself.

What does he even mean by that ?

"Wanna know a secret ?" He asked.

"Yeah ?"

"I was actually happy when I found out you and Kenny broke up."

I looked at him. "What ?"

"Yeah, I was over the moon. I thought I finally had a shot with you." He smiled sadly. "I mean other than your approval, he was the only obstacle standing in the way of me and the girl of the dreams."

"But then after you guys broke up, I never got to see you again, neither of us did." He explained. "After months I thought, it would be better if you guys got back together.. I mean atleast then I'd be able to see you."

Stunned was an understatement. This literally just came as a shock to me, I wasn't even aware of Junior's feelings for me. Yes he would sometimes try to flirt with me, but he would also try to flirt with every girl that looked his direction. It was just his personality, I didn't actually read much into it, girl of his dreams ?

"Wow." I let out a heavy sigh. "Junior I didn't.. I didn't know you were attracted to me that way, I mean-"

"Attracted ?" He chuckled with his eyebrows arched at me. "Blue there's attraction and then there's what I felt for you..."

"I loved you. I still do." He admitted. "But I've accepted that I won't ever have a chance to prove that. You're happy with him Blue, and that's all that matters."

Would I have given Junior a chance if I never met Kenny? Probably. He's cute, thoughtful, funny, caring and honest. He has all the good qualities you would want in guy, but not once have I ever had those thoughts about him. Not once have I ever thought of him as something more than a friend. It isn't just him, I have never looked at any man that way ever since I met Kenny. His statement from earlier was right, it was like I never notice anything when I'm with Kenny. Every guy I see is just blunt compared to him.

You could see how genuine Junior's intentions were, he isn't even fighting my relationship or anything negative. He cares about my happiness, even if he isn't the one making me happy.

"You're a great guy Junior, and you deserve more than what I would've offered you." I looked at him. "I know that someday you'll find a girl who's worthy of your love. Someone who'll love you the way you deserve to be loved."

"Thanks for the flatter but I don't think that day will ever come." He chuckled.

"And why is that ?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"With relationships comes great responsibility and I'm really not down for that." He shrugged, smiling. "Hook ups will never stress you."

"I really fail to understand you." I chuckled.
"So you also wanted me to be a hook up ?"

"Let me explain this to you, Kenny didn't do relationships before you. But his opinions changed as soon as he fell in love with you. He also didn't do relationships after your break up, but once you guys fixed things... He didn't want anything other than to spend the rest of his life with you. Same thing with me, you get the point right ?"

"Yeah, that I make men wanna settle down ?" I joked.

"Kind of." He chuckled. "There are some people that come into your life and just change your opinion about things and the way you wanna live your life."

"So yes, I wanted to spend the rest of my life loving one person, only if that person was you." He smiled.

"Wow that deep." I muttered and we both laughed. "But I think-"

"I think you might need to go." Junior interrupted, looking behind me.

My eyebrows furrowed, not understanding his statement until I turned around. Kenny was standing behind me, intently staring at Junior. His jaw clenched with his hands inside his pockets.

He doesn't look really happy.
