I got out of the bathroom and was surprised when I was met with an empty deck area. I went back inside and noticed that there were two doors, so I must've took the wrong one. I took the second one and let out a sigh of relief when I saw a bunch of people inside and around the pool. I thought I was lost.
I went to where Kenny and I were seated and found the seat empty. He was standing infront of the rails, his back turned to me as he talked to someone.
I was about to pat on his back when I saw who he was talking to, rainbow swimsuit girl.
"We had a good thing and you ruined it. I don't do relationships." She used air qoutes. "Then you come here with a girl who isn't even half as pretty me."
I internally chuckled, I like the confidence though.
"Morgan if you say one more word against her..." Kenny calmly replied to her. "I won't be sorry for what I'm going to do to you. You know what I'm capable of."
"Okay I'm sorry, I really am." She touched his arm not even noticing my precence. Kenny also didn't notice that I was standing next to them. "I just miss you so much and I let my jealousy get the best of me. I miss you Kenny, I miss you so much. Why won't you give me a chance? Why won't you give us a chance ?"
I rolled my eyes getting out of their sight without even listening to his response. That's why Kenny didn't want us to play truth or dare, it's because he knows little miss rainbow swimsuit. Or should I say Morgan.
I went inside the bathroom and got out the back door, leading to the deck. This deck was big but it had no one around, peace. I laid my hands on the rails and looked at the ocean, inhaling the fresh breeze and allowing the fresh air to hit my face.
I won't lie, a part of me is a little hurt. I know Kenny came clean about the random girls he fucked after our separation, rainbow girl is probably one of them. I thought it didnt bother me, I mean we weren't together, but actually witnessing it with my own eyes bought a whole pang of jealousy and envy. I just can't imagine him with another girl except me, it just kinda hurts a little.
a little ? Yeah you're not fooling anyone.
The wind was blowing most of my hair in my face so I took the scrunchie on my wrist and tied it into a high ponytail.
"I dreamt I blew up a shampoo factory last night. Hope it wasn't yours because your hair looks perfect." A male voice said behind me. There's only one person with these stupid pick up lines.
I turned around and my eyes widened when I saw him. Curly brown hair, cute baby face, tall and slender stature."Junior!" I smiled. My guess was correct.
"Glad to know you still remember me." He chuckled getting closer.
"Do you really think I could forget you ?" I asked as we hugged. "Oh my gosh I can't.." I trailed off looking at him.
It's been five years since we saw each other and I just didn't even know what to say . He's the Junior, Charlotte's brother. We met at the charity event I attended with Kenny when we were still together. I remember the night we first met vividly, I was upset about Kenny not telling Jessica about us, distanced myself then that's where I met Junior. He tried to sweep me off with his pick up lines intil Kenny showed up. Kenny doesn't really like him. We also met again at Charlotte's baby shower, then after that we hung out two or three times. He was the sweetest and yet craziest person to spend time with, I actually feel bad that I completely forgot about him.
"You sure know how to dissapeare. Five long years? No goodbye text, nothing ?"
"Yeah... Sorry about that."
