He searched around, long distance was becoming an issue so he'd have to switch.
"Dispel Codex Blaster!" he declares his blaster vanishing in a flash of red as he backflipped a couple times to avoid a monster's blade then jumping straight up and landed on a Drainer Droid's shoulders "Hey AI do I have a sword!?"
"Indeed, it is called the Encode Styler"
"Summon Encode Styler!" He shouts, before back flipping again and slicing the one he was standing on with the newly formed gold sword, with a swirling red hilt guard.
He turned and kicked a couple Drainer Droids down before stabbing one through the chest with it. The bot sparked and dropped to the ground, a small smile of relief appearing on Ross' face behind the helmet.
"...Did...did that do it?"
Suddenly...the metal forms itself back together and the bot's eyes turn back on.
"Dammit!" He turns and slashes a couple, charging forward "Can't keep up! Any special attacks or anything!!?"
"My apologies. Elemental Abilities are programmed into the Codex powers, however one of the creators of the morphers also programmed in a failsafe. We are not allowed to unlock those powers for you until your body has fully adjusted to the Grid energy you're siphoning. Siphoning more grid energy for the elemental power could seriously harm or kill you if you-"
"Yeah, yeah I get it. Abeoji is prone to that! I understand, fine"
He backs away from the group of robots before it hit him and he searched around.
Abeoji, where is he!? Did he get somewhere safe?!
Ross' eyes widen behind the helmet when he sees the Alien general backing his father into a brick wall. Adam looks exhausted, wincing every few seconds.
"Dad...oh no, is he okay - I have to get over there - I have to-"
"Adam Park is within scanning range. Mars Ranger would you like me to check Adam Park's vitals? Your heart has increased and your tone of voice and words imply a concern for his safety"
"Yes! Yes, check him!"
A few moments pass of Ross cutting through Drainer Droids before the AI speaks up again.
"Adam Park's vitals are strange. He does not appear to have sustained many injuries, however his heart rate is abnormal, he appears to be experiencing heart palpitations. I'm also detecting surges of Morphing Grid energy flooding his body at an increasing rate, however there is nothing siphoning it. I do not detect usage of his morphers." the AI explained.
"Abeoji..." Ross hissed, wishing he could somehow get there.
"Mars Ranger, your heart rate is increasing further. Please attempt to remain calm. Your father's vitals are not in the range of fatality. The co-creator of the Morphers Mr. William Cranston programmed in a feature for us to keep track of Adam Park's vitals if he was within range."
"W-What...B-Billy? You mean Billy? He did that - he helped make the morphers?!"
"Indeed. William Cranston, commonly called Billy by allies, foresaw Adam Park's desire to remain in the conflict and programmed in this feature. So that should he reach the point where his life was in danger, one of the Codex AIs could inform Alpha 6 and action could be taken" It explained "Please, remain calm and focus on the situation at hand."
Ross breathed a sigh of relief, still somewhat concerned about his father but at least okay that his dad wasn't....dying...
Okay, he needed to focus but damn so many Drainer Droids, he couldn't get pass them all he needed help - he needed -
