Ross jumped back in surprise holding his blade out.
"D-Did you unlock my elemental power!?"
"I - I did not Mars, I am not certain why it triggered...however: It does appear you are able to handle it. Though I do question how you siphoned that grid energy and charged into your encode styler...the styler is not designed to do that"
Ross stared forward at the Drainers. With this....with this he could -
He ran forward jumping up and into the air swinging his sword down on the Drainer in front of him. The Drainer went flying back into a few more behind it, its chest sparking with melted metal fusing together.
Ross couldn't resist the grin forming behind his helmet. This was his fire. His power. He could truly showcase how skilled he was in a genuine life or death situation, never was he someone who liked to show off, but just once....
"Answer my question human!"
Ross' gaze turned over to the alien targeting his father.
"Kkeojyeo!" Adam shouted
["Fuck off!"]
Ross' eyes widened as a blast barely missed him - and then Adam released a horrific scream, he had taken no damage but still his voice was filled with pain. Watching Ross could see a strange spark of green and deep purple energy crossing his father's body. The colours that match his father's active energy signatures.
He's used too much energy, he's exhausting himself - his body - Abeoji -
Ross gritted his teeth and turned his gaze back on the Drainers. They swarmed and blocked him, swinging weapons his way that he ducked and dodged around.
I'm done being patient with this -
The red ranger yelled, pouring as much of this power he could into his sword to push through it. He cut down a couple drainers with his flaming blade, before jumping up over a Drainer's weapon and spinning to make the fire spread and hit as many Drainers as possible.
Not only did he cut through - he landed cutting down several more with a burst of fire from the point his blade hit the ground. Then Ross charged forward, striking the Alien in the back and causing him to stumble.
Ross slid between his father and the Alien.
"Stand down. You touch him and that won't be the only hit you take today"
The Alien straightens, wincing at the pain from the slash and burn.
"Red Ranger...an impressive strike..." he says calmly "But my Drainer Droids are going to overwhelm you all soon enough"
Almost karmically Richie spoke up in Ross':
"Princey, I just took out my Spawner! The Droids are dropping like flies! Not only does that thing make them, it powers them too! They're basically toys on AAA batteries"
Ross snickered.
"Sounds like Saturn's already taken out your first Spawner" he says firmly "It shouldn't take long for the rest of my team to do the same, so I'll just take you on"
"Hm, well then Red Ranger if we're going to fight in such a challenge I at least deserve your name"
Ross stands tall.
"You can just call me Mars. And you?"
"Commander Ryon of the Emphyrean Legion. Let us fight then, Mars"
