Chapter Two

"You cannot attend this meeting. no matter what the Shadowhunter is offering. valentine is getting close. It is far too dangerous for you to leave the lair." he told me.

I could feel my anger rising, knowing he left the warlocks alone.

"When we leave, we shall be discussing the rules of being high warlock." I told him.

He nodded and looked down. I grabbed his hand and gently squeezed it.

"I was alive when the dead sea was just a lake that was feeling a little poorly. While I value your counsel... so much red brick makes me feel like a caged animal." I told him as we looked through the window

"How old are you?" Jace and Isabelle asked.

"How rude. You don't ask a warlock their age." Magnus told them.

I laughed knowing if they knew my age it would be a shock to them.

"Is one necklace really worth the risk?" he asked me

"This necklace is. This discussion is over." I said in all seriousness

"Have every warlock help strengthen the wards while I'm gone. I may be willing to fight valentine, my guests are not." I told him walking away getting ready for the meeting.

I portaled to Pandemonium, enjoying the party, waiting for the shadow hunters.

It was 5 minutes before the meeting time. I went and sat down preparing myself.

"Magnus!" I looked up and saw Jace Wayland calling me.

"Finally, I'm in it." Jace said.

"Jace. Quiet." Alexander told him.

I stand up and walk around the couch.

"Clary Fairchild. You've grown into a beautiful young woman." I told her.

"Magnus Bane. So, you're the one who stole all my memories." She accused.

"Excuse you, child. I did that for your mother." He told her.

"At your mother's request. She knew the risk." I defended.

"Show me the jewelry, Shadowhunter." I ordered Jace

He lifted the necklace in front of me and I tried to grab it.

"Ahh, I see." Magnus whispered

I knew what this necklace meant. I glanced at Raphael, before we turned back to the screen.

"ohh. Give Clary back her memories and you get the jewelry." He told me

"I have to confirm its authenticity." I said

He handed it to me and I looked at the back of it. Amor

"Amor verus numquam moritur" "True love cannot die." I said translating it.

"True love cannot die." Magnus said, looking into my eyes at the same time as his screen part.

I smiled and mouthed 'I love you' to him.

"Oh, how I've missed this jewel. My belove will love to have this." I said

"Now it's your turn to pay up." Clary said

"I wish I could retrieve your memories, but I no longer have them." I told her

"What? Where are they?" She asked

"I fed them to a memory demon for safe keeping." I told them

"And why the hell would you do that?" Jace asked

"To protect Clary and the Cup. If Valentine ever captured me, he could torture Clary's memories out of me. Just like he tortured Dot." I said

"Tortured? Wait is Dot okay?" Clary asked me

"Wait you don't know? Dot is dead." I told her gently

"What? How do you know? My belove and I can't feel her magic anymore. Valentine killed her because she would not betray your mother." I told her

"Oh my god." she said shaking her head

"Come with me Clary. My lair can offer you protection no Shadowhunter ever could." I said moving her aside.

"No! No, I'm not going anywhere with you." She said backing away

"Don't be a fool. Your mother would want you to live." I told her

"Then help me get my memories back from whatever demon you gave them to." She said coming towards me

"Valentine is hunting you, too. And every moment we're outside my lair's protection, is a moment Valentine gets closer to finding us." I told before creating a portal

"Come with me. I won't offer again." I told her holding my hand out.

"No. No, I won't hide from my problems, and neither should you." She told me before someone yelled.

"There's a difference between hiding and protecting." Raphael said.

I moved to see an arrow fly past me and into a circle member. I saw as a guy came past us to check the person. He was hot. My belove will love him.

"Who are you?" I said to myself

"Thank you for saving him." I said turning to Alexander.

He nodded. I could see his sister whisper something to him.

I stared at him before heading towards my portal

"You're my only hope." Clary said

"Valentine found us. I warned your mother this might happen." I said before going into the portal

With Stella

I portaled to every lair, helping warlocks keep safe. When I reached the last lair before heading back home, I noticed Magnus magic.

"Lilith, be okay." I said

I will kill that man when I get back home. As I finished the wards, I felt the Brooklyn lair's wards go down. I rush to finish everything before portaling home. Immediately I noticed I was surrounded by Circle members.

"Stella!" Magnus yelled as I was surrounded.

"I'll be okay, my love. They can't injure me." I told him.

"How can you say that. Your surrounded." Simon said

"Watch." I told him.

"Ahh, The High Warlock of New York. Valentine has been looking for you." One of the member said

"Why would he want you?" Jace asked.

"Maybe, because I lead all warlocks and am one of the strongest." I told him.

"Five against one. Don't you think that is a bit unfair." I said

"We'll fight you one on one." A member said cockily

"Oh, no. I mean for you." I said as I shined my eyes before using my chaos magic.

"Lilith, I love you." Magnus said. I could see how his mood changed. I smiled to myself and continued watching.

"This will be fun" I said

I lifted two in the air before ripping their hearts out as the other three attacked. I made a ball of energy throwing it at a member. Three down two to go. I back flipped and through my power at them, killing them on the spot. I look around only to see warlocks dead. My people, my family. I will kill the circle.

"Oh my god! You just killed those people!" Clary yelled.

"She did it to protect herself." Luke told her.

"Magnus!" I yelled
