"Excited for yet another match, Dear?" Asked your father Erik, who was seated with you at the stadium for yet another thrilling Manchester united match,being a manager's daughter meant everyone on the team had been dearly close to you, almost seeing them everyday whether it be training, matches or just interviews. Everyone had their fair share being around you, yet you had a favorite that you wished you could always be with.
Raphaël Varane.
He had always had a way of making you have butterflies in your stomach by just giving you the slightest glance. His shyness made you like him even more, finding it cute. You knew you had fallen for him the day he stepped foot at old trafford. All you wanted to know now is whether he felt the same way about you.
"I'm very excited Dad, the boys will make us proud again!" You replied smiling out at the field where the boys were getting ready for the match, which was not to far of to be starting in just a few moments
Raphaël looked up to the stands, locking eyes with you. You smiled waving at him, wording out a "Good Luck" to him.
Raphaël Pov
I smiled back at y/n as she worded out a "Good Luck" to me. I've really fallen in love with her but I've been shy to admit my feelings to her.
"Mhmm making heart eyes at y/n once again" Martínez teased bumping my shoulder
"Oh stop Licha" I laughed
"When are you going to tell her?" Licha asked
"Soon" I shortly replied
"Well you better tell her soon Raph before it's too late" Antony muttered
"He's right, you rather not waste time and just tell her" Martínez said
"I'm sure she likes you too, she always blushes around you" Antony said
"Really? You noticed that?" I asked him
"Yes hundred percent brother" he said and walked off to the tunnel with the others
He was right, I should tell her before someone else decides too.
Y/n Pov
The match had began, Raphaël was out on the field with the others, while Mctominay, Pellistri, Fred, Sancho and Antony was with us on the bench.
"What's your predictions for today" Asked Antony who was seated behind you
"I'll say we'll win two-one" you replied, making him nod in agreement
"Raphaël's doing good out there" Antony said, making you smile
"He is" You replied trying not to blush
"I know y/n"
"What do you know, Antony?" You asked him confused
"That you like Raphaël" he stated, which caused you to gasp, how did he find out? Where you too obvious?
"No I don't" You said trying to make a stern face that you were serious
"Don't lie y/n i see the way you look at him, tell him" he replied
"Fine I do like him,Antony but I'm scared he won't like me"
"Trust me and tell him, you'll never know until you talk to him"
"I guess you're right I'll talk to him once he comes back" you replied, making Antony smile and nod okay.
After about the 65th minute of the game Varane got subbed off, and this was now your chance at telling him your feelings, you knew you had too.
You saw him take a seat in front of you, Antony ushering you to say something to him. You tapped his seat, causing him to turn around to face you.
"Hi" you both said in unison.
"Good game, we're winning" you muttered
"We are, I'm glad it was a tough season for us" he said
"Yes, I'm happy for you guys"
"Thank you y/n"
"No problem Raph"
"Can I talk to you about something important?" you asked
"Yes, I also need to tell you something" he replied
"Shall we go somewhere private?" You asked him
"Yes lets go" he said and lead you towards the tunnels
"So what was it you wanted to tell me y/n?" He asked
"Well umm, I..." you stuttered
"Y/n, you're okay?" He asked concerned
"Yes, im just going to say it, Iloveyouraphaëlvarane" you said out fast, Raph looking at you confused barely knowing what you just said
"You said that so fast Y/n, mind slowing down this time?" He giggled
"I said, I love you Raphaël" you said softly looking into his eyes, that shined brightly at your words.
"I love you too y/n, I always did" he said back, taking your hands in his.
"Really? Why didn't you say anything before then?"
"I was shy I guess, Licha and Antony managed to get me to talk to you, but I guess you beat me to it by confessing it first" he laughed
"I guess I did, who knew Antony was a match maker" you laughed causing him to laugh too.
"So..? Can will you be my girlfriend Y/n? He asked
"Yes Raph" you smiled
"Although i hope your dad doesn't kill me"
"Oh no be prepared for torture from him" you joked
