Edinson Cavani - Surprise

{ Telling him you can't make it to his match but surprise him by showing up, he sees you after the match and gets happy}

It was another early morning and you were getting ready for work as per usual. You felt bad because your husband Edinson had a football match later on and you were working meaning you couldn't attend.

"Mi amor don't worry about attending if you can't make it" Edinson said giving you a kiss on your forehead

"I feel terrible, because i never miss out on being there, you know that" you huffed and continued putting on your work attire.

"No te sientas mal ( don't feel bad) you can come to my next match yeah?" He said

"Okay Edi" you replied and got ready to leave

"Be safe mi amor" he said and wrapped you in a tight hug

"Thank you, i love you" you replied

"I love you too" he said and you got in your car to drive off to work.

*5 hour time skip - you're at work*

"Y/n come here for a minute" your boss said over the work telephone

"I'll be right there" you rushed off to meet your boss who was in his chair busy engrossed in work

"Ahh you're here, you've been working non stop today and I'm aware that your husband is playing today, am i right?" Your boss said which made you nod in approval

"I'm giving you the day off since you have completed all your work for today"

"Thank you boss" you smiled happily

"No problem"

You were excited, you could go to the match now. You drove back home and wore your Valencia jersey, since the match today was Villarreal vs Valencia. You did your hair and drove off to the stadium.

When you arrived there it was a bit empty since the match didn't start as yet. The players where doing their pre match training and you spotted Edinson training. After what felt like ages the match had began.

It started off well and Valencia scored first, you cheered on, seeing Edinson bursting with joy with his teammates.

By the end of the game Villarreal scored to and Valencia scored 3.

You were so happy for Edinson, he was beaming with joy. After the match you waited outside the locker rooms to see him.

After waiting a while you spot him, he makes eye contact with you and instantly a smile forms on his face.

"You came?" He said shocked but excited to see you

"Of course, i had to cheer my husband,im so proud of you Edinson" you said and hugged him

"How sweet you are mi querida (my darling)" he said and carried you bridal style, you smiled holding onto his neck

"How about we go out to eat?" He asked

"I think I'd like that mi campeón (my champion)"
