AU#3 What happened Jinx/Powder x Reader

After Sevika finish patching me up she walked me back to the last drop since it was already getting late and didn't want me walking back by myself

"hey kid I have a question for you" I looked at her for her to continue as she kept looking forward "why do you stay there you know it's not good for you to get injured this much your wound still haven't healed from before why don't you just come live with me" I looked down at the ground smiling "can't do that I would love to but I have to be there for Powder I already made her a promise and I would never leave her so I might as well stay" I could tell that she was looking at me with pity but understood where I was coming from

Once we got back to the last drop she open the door and let me in first she went in after me and I saw that Benzo was here so that means Ekko was here I gave them a smile as I left to go downstairs

I like Ekko he's a good kid he's a year older than me he looks up to Vi talking about how she fights and try to copy her fighting style it's funny he does worry about me a little bit when he seen that my arms and legs were bandaged but I reassured him that it was nothing to worry about I could tell that he still worries about me though but understand I might not want to talk about it

I saw that everyone was in the hangout room again the door was cracked so I could see I saw that Powder was laughing which made me smile I didn't want to interrupt them so I went to the room to lay down try and rest let my body relax

*FEW MINUTES LATER*

I was laying on my back looking up at the ceiling with my arms behind my head I couldn't fall asleep so I just laid there looking up I wasn't paying attention to anything other than trying to fall asleep I finally felt my eyelids get heavy when I felt the bed shift a little and felt someone laid they head on my chest I looked down to see it was Powder she had her eyes close trying to fall asleep as well or just laid with me I smiled at this and moved one of my arms and wrapped it around her she opened her eyes and looked up as I looked down at her

"came in here to sleep or to just lay with me" my voice was a whisper as we talked "just lay maybe sleep I was worried about you you didn't come home with the others" I gave her smile as I put my other arm around her pulling her even closer to me "yeah I'm sorry about that I had to make a stop real quick before I came home" I lean down some and placed a kiss on her forehead i've been doing that for a while now and every time she gets flustered it was pretty cute "where did you have to go" she wrapped her arms around my neck as I had my arms wrapped around her waist "It doesn't matter I just had to go get packed up"

I saw that her eyes wide as she looked at my arms seen new bandages "you got injured again what happened this time" I looked up back at the ceiling "we got into a fight I got knocked down to the ground getting cut some and I got punched a little bit but I'm fine it's nothing severe" I felt her move her head into the crook of my neck as she tightened her grab around my neck "I know you're sleepy you can get some sleep if you want I don't mind If you fall asleep" I felt her nod her head as we just laid there holding each other

I heard the door creek open I looked at the door to see that it was Ekko "oh there you two are I was wondering where Powder went" I gave him a smile as he stood by the door "yeah powder is a little bit sleepy or she's just laying here I don't know at this point" I heard her mumble something "Powder I need words" I looked down at her as she spoke it was only a whisper though "sleep" I smiled and looked back Ekko "she's tired she wants to go to sleep we did have a long night last night taking care of the last drop not to mention she cut herself in the palm of her hand while doing the dishes" I pulled her little closer to me so she was a little bit on top of me making sure that she was comfortable "I see then i'll head back to the hangout room to tell Vi that you two are going to sleep" I gave Ekko smile "thank you and please tell them not to wake us up" Ekkk gave me a nod as he shut the door

I couldn't help but remember what happened the other night

*FLASHBACK*

Everyone has their own jobs in the last drop for Vi, Mylo, and Claggor is to deliver food to the customers or to clean up the tables as for me and Powder are in the kitchen simply because Vi doesn't know how to cook Mylo we don't trust in the kitchen and Claggor it's because he gets kind of confused with so many orders and Vander has to run the bar so mine job is to cook luckily for me I know how and for Powder is to wash the dishes to help me out a little since were too young to actually go out

I just finished cooking the last meal that I had and serve it up I was leaning against the counter taking a breath when I heard Powder yelp "ow" I walked over there immediately to check her out "are you all right what happened" I took both her hands and started to look at them and saw that she had a small cut on the palm of her right hand "it's nothing I just accidental cut myself with a knife" I looked at her hand seeing the cut start to bleed

I kissed the palm of her hand and grab the Band-Aids from the draw I took her hand back and put the Band-Aid on it "there you should get some rest though you haven't slept in a while I know that so go get some sleep I'll tell Vander i'm taking over" Powder give me a small smile as she left the kitchen to head back to the room
