"Now.. about that other thing." He said as he bought me closer and pressed me against him.

"We're not having sex in a hospital."

"Why ?"

"People die in here." I widened my eyes at him, looking at him like he just said the most ridiculous thing.

"Do they die in the bathrooms ?" He arched his brows and I chuckled.

I was about to respond when I heard the elevators ding. This is the private side of the hospital so only restricted people have access to it when it's occupied. I got off Kenny's lap, sitting next to him on the bench.

Dr Gordon came into site and I immidietly stood up, my heart was pounding aggressively in my chest as I looked at him expectantly.

"The surgery was a success." He smiled, causing me to smile too before letting out a breath of relief. "We were able to remove the cloudy lenses and replace them with new ones. Like I assured you, everything went smoothly. We'll just confirm Kiara's clear vision once she regains consciousness."

"Uhh.. thank you, thank you so much I.." I smiled running my hands through my disheveled hair.

"It's my pleasure." Mr Gordon smiled.

A wave of relief just overtook my entire body and soul... I felt like a whole weight had been lifted off my shoulders and I could finally breath freely.

"When will she regain consciousness ?" Kenny asked.

"Atleast an hour from now on."

"Okay." I nodded. "Thank you, again." I chuckled.

He also nodded, smiling before he left.

I turned to Kenny and wrapped my arms around his waist, laying my head on his chest. "It's finally over."

"I know." He kissed my forehead holding me closer. "I never told you this but... you're a good mom Blue, you're doing a phenomenal job."

"Thanks." I looked at him. "I needed that."

I layed my head back in his chest, inhaling his manly cologne. "You know there's a gift shop right across the street." I lifted my head up.

"Wanna get her something ?" He asked, his fingertips on my cheeks.

I nodded pulling away and checked Kai through the glass doors. "He's still asleep, we'll get in and out." I pulled his hand, leading him to the elevators.

The sensor doors opened immidietly opened and we got inside, pressing the button to the first floor.

"Looks like you already know what you wanna get her ?" He said looking between me and my leg that was tapping impatiently up and down.

The elevators dinged and we got out. "Yeah. We actually went to the gift shop earlier. Kai wanted to buy her balloons but they were all get well soon, or I'm sorry balloons.

"Kiara was looking at this fish tank thing. It's like a sea inside a small square glass. It had colourful sea weeds and grass, water.. it even has blue lights. I think she'd be happy if we bought it Molly."

"Who's Molly ?" He asked as we got out of the hospital doors.

"The goldfish you got her ?"

"Ohh.. that thing still alive ?" He asked suprised as we crossed the street. "Don't they die in like.. two weeks or something ?"

"Oh my gosh you knew that thing easily dies and you still got it for her ?!" I rasped. "What happens when it actually dies ?"

He chuckled, shrugging. "Tell her it's the circle of life ?"

I rolled my eyes. "And there I was worried about flushing it when it has only two days to live."

"You flushed it ?" He arched his eyebrows, trying to not laugh.

"It was a mistake I replaced it." I said as we stood infront of the shop. "She doesn't even notice the difference. So the fish at home is Molly got that ?"

He chuckled and I smiled, seeing the red dot on his chest.

Red dot ?

My body stiffened as I looked on top of the nearby buildings until I found what I was looking for.

"Can you tie my shoe ?" I asked, as I saw a movement on the hospital rooftop.

He looked between me and my shoes confusedly. "Your shoe's absolutely fi-"

"Just do it!" I shouted in a panicked voice.

Kenny shaked his head in confusion, shrugging as he bent down down, and immidietly I felt the sting on my stomach.

"Fuck." I whispered causing him to look at me. His eyes widened as he saw my hand on my bleeding stomach.

"Shit. Why the fuck would you do that ?!" He said angrily as he picked me up and crossed the street.

My eyes were blurring up as the pain of the bullet on my stomach kept intensifying. "Blue just keep your eyes open, please." He begged as he rushed inside the hospital.

"They are." I whispered, feeling tears pricking in my eyes. My eyelids became heavy, the voices and movements around me just blurring up. The last thing I heard was his voice before I was completely consumed by darkness.
