I chuckled. "To top it all up... I give birth to two of them, Two. As if I was not anxious enough to have one child, suprise suprise, I give birth to twins.
"And then Kiara doesn't open her eyes for two whole days after she's born." I chuckled, tears flowing through my cheeks as I used my palms to wipe them. "Kenny I was scared and confused.. with the doctors also telling me that there's a possibility that she might be blind. I already don't know how to raise a child.. where was I even going to begin if it was confirmed she was blind ?
"For the first time I actually found myself praying. I didn't even know who I was praying to, but I just begged for whoever was up there to just..." I huffed. "I'm just glad she opened them before the tests were out, I've never felt so much relief than I did at the moment.
"But with everything that I've gone through or going through.. I always gotta keep my head high, keep moving without a care in the world. It's always me and anti-depressants in private, and me and my unyielding personality infront of everyone. No matter how much I wanna give up and break down... I can't. I have to live up to the badass I'm portrayed to be. I have to pretend to be the strong assassin, the strong future gang leader, and most importantly.. the strong mom. I can't even be vulnerable and..." I shrugged my shoulders.
He sighed. "I'm sorry I wasn't there."
"It's not your fault." I shaked my head.
"But it is. You tried to talk to me and... I'm the reason Jessica was there in the first place."
I can't help but think, this is the first time Kenny and I had an actual conversation after the night at the beach house. We finally opened up to each other to only find out half of the things we hated each other for, were actually misunderstandings. So much energy put into getting revenge when communication could've fixed most of our issues and problems.
"I'm sorry." I looked at him. "I'm sorry for lying to you about who I was, I'm sorry for using you, I'm sorry for everything Kenny. I'm really sorry... The only thing I'm not sorry about is-"
"Killing my parents." He completed for me. "I know, and you shouldn't. If I knew then I think I would've done it myself. You saved hundreds or even thousands of kids, and you shouldn't regret it because it was at the expense of my parents. They deserved every little thing you gave them."
"Yeah... I meant what I said that night..."
"Come here." He said holding my waist and I shifted to sit on his lap, facing him as my legs were on both his sides. His hand went to my butt to balance me as the other held my neck. We both looked into each other's eyes before his eyes averted to my lips.
I bit my lower lip still looking into his eyes and immidietly, his lips met mine in a passionate and sensual kiss. His soft and delicate lips moving in sync with mine in a slow and calming kiss. I was completely lost in a world of pleasure and euphoria. The two of us focused on each other and the world just blurred around us.
"I love you." He whispered pulling away from the kiss.
"And I'm horny." I taunted, placing kisses on his neck. I ran my hands through his chest and trailed to his hard on under me.
"Ouch!" I pulled away feeling the sting in my butt. The asshole just spanked me. He smirked rubbing my butt as I glared at him.
He kissed my lips breaking my pout, causing me to smile. I chuckled pecking him. "I love you." I placed another peck on his lips. "So so much."
I couldn't believe this was actually happening. This all felt surreal and unbelievable. It felt like a fantasy, like one huge dream that I would wake up from any second from now, and all of this would just dissapeare. I never thought a day would come when we'd get a second chance, a day when I'd get a second chance. A chance to fix my mistakes and start over again. A chance to love and be happy again.
