Now I know what you're thinking why did you leave us with a cliffhanger?
well, the real reason is I couldn't find a better ending to show how these two characters go back together because honestly, this is a slow burn book and yes, their relationship was really fast and ended really fast but that's how I wanted it to be as a slow burn book.
So with that being said, maybe they get back together in college since you're going to the same school.
Or they meet new people and become their own individuals.
Or maybe one falls even harder for the other in college, but the other doesn't feel the same way.
And we will never know, but one thing I know, for sure is that there will definitely be a sequel to this book in the near future.
But for right now, this is where the story of Ionie and Caleb ends.
So thanks for everyone who has been through this roller coaster ride with Ionie and Caleb.
