I lay down on my bed tossing and turning in the middle of the night... I can't wait for Christmas!

-"Psst Rainbow Rainbow!"

I said in a whisper while I hang down and poke my big sis.

-"Egh whattt"

Rainbow sounded like a zombie, I couldn't help but giggle.

-"Don't you know? It's gonna be Christmas tomorrow!"

-"Ok... ZzzzZzzz"

-"You shouldn't be excited ya know"

Lunar piped up from the other bunk

-"What why?"

Lunar looked below her to see if Gold was sleeping.

-"Gold always gets all of the good gifts... don't get your hopes up"

I shove my face into my pillow and breathe out.

I feel Betty's hand hold mine that was hanging off of the edge as she groggily reassures me.

-"I'm sure we'll get something nice tomorrow."

Lunar said as she turned around in her bed.

Next Morning

-"Psst Kat...KATTT"

-"Huh- Huh?"

Gold was peeking from under my bed excitedly.

I sit up & jump down quickly.

-"Well then what are waiting for!"

I grab Gold's hand and rush out of the door, the rest of my siblings were sitting beside a card board cut out of a Christmas Tree.

-"Good, the late ones are here"

Draco said, I mean he's right we both were always late but still!

-"Alright alright let's get to the gifts"

Next to the cardboard tree was 4 tiny boxes & 1 big box, we knew who the big box was for.

It seemed like the worker had noticed the frown on everyones faces except for Gold, oblivious Gold...

-"Oh don't worry guys, the smaller things in life are the best!"
