"Boog, are you sure you don't want me to drive?" Bri asked as they stood in the driveway. She looked at him and pouted.

"Yes, baby I got it. Sit that pregnant ass in the front seat, please." He demanded making Bri smile and shake her head.

It's been a week since their trip to New York and boy was it an adventure. The first few days they took Messiah downtown, so he could get a feel of Times Square along with the kids attractions. They had his party at the Ninja Turtle museum and needless to say, his father's family showed out. They left New York with more gifts than they came with. After the festivities were over, it was time to handle business. They left the city and made their made way to Itacha and did what they said they were gonna do. Bri checked on her apartment complex and it was coming along nicely, like she knew it would. Her daddy's construction company was the best.

Being that nobody back in Itacha knew Derion was in town, made the play even better. Around midnight on a cool Saturday night, all the adults, De's brothers along with him and Bri loaded up in two unmarked cars and made their way to spin. Derion knew where they always hung out on the weekend, so he gave his brother the location and they pulled up. Don't wanna be too federal, so let's just say they're three niggas currently fighting for their lives at Oasis Grandview. Derion did a lot of damage with his hands and the only time a weapon was when Bri fired three shots out the sunroof after they deliberately broke Derion's arm. Hearing Derion cry out sent a world-wind of emotions through her body.

Today was the day they find out what baby Boogie or Booger—as Messiah would say—gender will be. Derion used his free arm to shut Bri's door before walking around the truck to the driver's side. He pulled the door open with his right hand and twisted his body to the side so he could shut the door. Bri shook her head at her macho man and sat up in her seat—reaching over to pull his seatbelt across his body.

Derion looked up meeting her eyes. He shook his head as as a small smile rested on his face. "Thank you, baby."

Bri smiled. "You know I got you."

He leaned over and licked her bottom lip before giving her a kiss. He pushed the start button and opened the gate before pulling out of the driveway. "We picking up Papa after or before we go shopping?"

"Before because I'm not gonna wanna do nothing but lay down after the day is over." Bri expressed as she rubbed her growing stomach. She smiled at the little kicks. She pulled her iPad out of her purse and opened up the Walmart app. All of her registries were complete, she's just been waiting for the gender, so she could publish them for their families. Everybody was banking on her having another boy, but she didn't agree. Bri thought she was having a girl.

"So we doing the baby shower down south?" Derion glanced at his wife making her nod her head.

"Yes, it's gonna be at the field. I would've had it our house, but honestly I don't want none of my family knowing where we live. As far as they know, I still live in New York. I even got my parents's address on our registries. I wanna have it the weekend of Papa's spring break, so we can take him to the beach." Bri added some more wipes and bottles to her Amazon registry before going to the kitchen section for babies.
