Xena's POV.

"Miss, are you sure about letting them eat togerher, after that conflict earlier?" George one of my butlers asked uncertain.

"Don't get your panties in a twist, I'll be eating with them" I said giving him a reassuring smile, before exiting my office. I walked down the hall bracing myself for what I'm about to walk into, I took a deep breath before opening the door. As I was half inside a dish with food on it was coming my way, I quickly stopped it with a flick of my wrist, the dish and other foods in the air stopped all at the same time, floating in mid-air. The children stopped yelling at each other and looked at me like I had grown another head, which is not that unusual in my field of work. I exhaled and walked to my seat and as I sat down, everything in the air fell to the floor. I calmly grabbed a napkin and placed it on my lap. The children hadn't spoken a word since I entered the room. I started cutting my food and still no sound came from the 4 of them. Until Angelo broke the silence.

"See? I told you she's a witch!" as soon as he said that his twin slapped him in the back of the head.

"Hush, Angelo" she said quietly.

"She should talk more" I thought to myself. "Well children, when dinner is over you are going to clean this mess up and I don't want to see a speck of food on the floor am I clear?" I said sternly, they all nodded. "Anyways with that out of the way, you will be starting your training tomorrow. Salome you will be starting your straining in the silent killing tecnique, Angelo you will be starting your training in karate and also you Beatrice, Dominique you will start your training in hand to hand combat"

"but karate is Salome's thing!" Angelo whined, but one glare frome his sister shut him up.

"Xena, you're like us, aren't you?" Beatrice asked not making eye contact. I flicked my finger and the salt floated my way, I put some on my food and put it back.

"Perhaps" I said continuing with my food. After dinner was over the children began bickering while cleaning up, I chuckled softly and walked out.

Beatrice's POV

The entire time I spent cleaning the dining room I thought to myself if I should say something to Dominique. Whilst cleaning he didn't say a word, he rarely did.

Later the same night I couldn't sleep. I most often can after looking into someone's memory, but not this time. I never dream, my amnesia makes sure of that. That's why I paint, to make sure of that I remember.

I walked out into the cold hall and forward into the living room. There was no one out here so I walked up the round stairs in the corner of the room, another living room. I saw a large, glass door leading out to the balcony, and there he stood, in a white t'shirt and shorts. Similar to what i was wearing. We didn't get to keep our own clothes so we had to wear these.

I opened the door slightly and stepped out into the cold. I could hear him exhale slowly.

"What do you want?" he didn't seem to be enjoying himself with me around.

"I can't sleep" I took a few steps towards him. "I-"

"How the hell do you do that!?" he cut me off. I opened my mouth to say something before I realised I had nothing to say. "I had blocked that memory" he said pissed. He was careful not to look at me, afraid I might mess with his mind again.

"Dominique" I now stood beside him. "Look at me"

"Fuck no!" He must think I'm joking.

"Trust me" I laid my hand on his arm.

"I have no respect for you!" He threw his hand into the air out of anger and I was pushed away by something else than him. I was on the ground before I knew it. I could sense his regret. I pushed myself up onto my knees.

"I'm not asking for respect, I'm asking for your trust" I was trying to catch my breath. I took quite a hit. "I can change it" he immediately looked down on me.

"What?"

"I can change it back." he stood there silently as I stood up. He was looking straight at me so I took it as permission to do what he wanted me to do. I looked into his grey eyes and was taken into his locked mind.

Then I was there again, the same dirty surroundings as before. Again there was no man, just me, standing there in the clothes I slept in (if I had gotten any sleep). Young Dominique now the same age as now standing besides a younger, crying version of himself. He looks down at him in sorrow and follows his threatening words, and his eyes meet mine.

"This is different" he points out.

"I know" suddenly his stepfather is standing beside me, yelling back but no words can be heard, you can just see his spit shoot from his mouth. "What would you do if you'd meet him again?" I took a few steps away and left the man in the middle of the room. Dominique looked at him for a moment before raising his hand. He opened his fist and moved it higher, the old man followed into the air. The man keep yelling, on mute. I watch as he does what he thinks his stepfather deserves. Dominique controls every drop of blood in his body. He makes it go faster than is possible for the human body, leaving the heart to explode. He then angrily throws the man out the large window behind him with a single flick of his hand.

Then were back on the balcony. I run to him as he's about to fall down. His eyes are closed and his breath was heavy. He was sweaty and a single tear ran down his cheek.

"it wasn't your fault" I assure him while he recovers. My hand is on his cheek and he looks into my eyes again. I try to contain myself, I'm not used to this. I'm not used to not getting sucked into a persons memory, because I love it. But now, this matters, I have to be strong and contain myself.

He grabs my hand and he nods. Suddenly we hear a loud scream from inside the house. Our heads shoot towards the door. We run inside and down the stairs. When were about to run into the hall were our bedrooms are Salome calmly walks past us. Her eyes closed and breath shallow.

"Is she sleepwalking?" Dominique follows her and I follow straight behind. Salome walks into Angelo's bedroom where he lays, screaming at the top of his lungs. She slowly lays down beside him and he stops screaming. We stand there, confused.

"those are the strangest twins I have ever seen" Dominique says
