He seemed different than the others. Quiet, gentle, sweet, almost like he was in his own world.

Mikey and his friends always went to there local sandwich shop after band practice.
He always saw this one girl. She was different. She wore all black, unlike the other workers. She was quiet and worked hard instead of gossiping like the other workers. He noticed that the other girls working would always make her do the work and would make fun of her.
One day Mikey gets tired of her getting made fun of. Its not fair. He stood up for her. The girl thanked him and never talked to him again.
Until, Mikey and Scarlett both start there freshman year at Belleville high school. Scarlett just so happens to be Mikeys touring partner, with all the same classes.
