Chapter 3: Inventions

Start from the beginning

The papers started floating around as he accidentally dropped Wade's chemicals.

Wade: oh no.<runs over and started picking them up as he cut his finger> ow!

Tony; you okay?

Wade; just a cut.

Tony: <starts controlling it better> could be worse! Could be rose! We're fine! Okay! <goes to the landing square as he turns it off and lands> okay. <looks at Dummy> no! Uh-uh! Uh-uh! Uh! Yeah, I can fly. Wade?

Wade: I'm cleaning up.

Wade saw a drop of blood fall into the mixture of chemicals and something appeared.

Wade: what?

Tony: <walks over> Wade?

Wade:<cuts his hand more open>

Tony: what are you doing?!

Wade: watch.

Wade dropped a lot of blood into the chemicals as the floating red crosses went into his hand and completely healed his hand.

Wade: that's it! Blood! Blood is what the chemicals needed to make the healing component!

Wade cleans up the chemicals and the glass as he goes to the his formulas and adds blood into the mix and runs the simulation. He tried it with every type of blood, A, B, AB, O. They all worked.

Wade: that's it! Now I just need to modify the final product to have energy on it to increase the beam's power.

Tony: we both achieved something, kiddo. I can fly and you can heal anything.

It was now for the trial run, Wade helped Tony with his armor as his Mark II armor was complete as the machines assembled his armor.

Tony; Jarvis, are you there?

Jarvis; at your service, sir.

Tony; engage heads up display.

Jarvis; check.

Tony; import all preferences from home interface.

Jarvis: will do, sir.

Tony walks in his full armor to the where he will take off from as Wade walks in front of him.

Tony: how do I look?

Wade: amazing.

Tony: thank you.

Wade: I'll modify the medigun and try to get something ready before you come back.

Tony: take you time. Don't rush it.

Jarvis; I have indeed been uploaded, sir. We're online and ready.

Tony; can we start the virtual walk-around?

Jarvis: importing preferences and calibrating virtual environment.

Tony; do a check on control surfaces.

Jarvis: as you wish.

Tony's armor calibrated as Wade got out of the way to a safe distance.

Jarvis: test complete. Preparing to power down and being diagnostics.

Tony; uh, yeah. Tell you what. Do a weather and ATC check. Start listening in on ground control.

Jarvis: sir, there are still terabytes of calculations needed before an actual flight is...

Tony: Jarvis! Sometimes you got to run before you can walk.

Wade: does that mean the same for my invention?

Tony: no, yours is much more fragile than mine. Take it slowly. Got it?

Wade: got it.

Tony; ready? In three, two, one.

Tony activated his armor and took off flying as Wade saw him go. He got started on modifying his medigun. He upgraded the design for it to make it two handheld and have a slightly bigger backpack with it. It didn't take long for him to upgrade his blueprints and it didn't take long for Tony to crash through the roof and on-top of a car. Dummy doused him with the fire extinguisher.

Wade:<walks over and looks down> had fun?

Tony; yes.

Wade: guess you need to work on your landing.

Tony; and other stuff, but yes.

Wade: let's get you out of there first then I'll show my blueprints.

Tony: good idea.

Wade helped Tony out of the armor as he put an ice bag on his head. Tony went to the box that Pepper left as there was only the coffee mug on top of it as Wade already drank the apple juice. Tony took off the sticky note and unwrap the box as it was his original arc reactor in display that said "proof that Tony Stark had a heart".

Wade:<walks over> it's nice of her to do that.

Tony: it is. Is your blueprints ready?

Wade: they are.

Tony; let's see them.

Wade showed Tony his blueprints.

Tony: I like it. Let's build it.

Wade and Tony took a day to build Wade's medigun as the final product was complete.

Wade:<puts the backpack on> it's heavy.

Tony: so what got you to build this?

Wade: when I was in medical school, I was taught all the ways a human being can get hurt physically and the statistics when people die via open wounds like soldiers do. So it came to me, what if there was a healing beam that after the shrapnel and bullets are removed, it will heal you completely as if you weren't wounded at all?

Tony: I see.

Wade: that was part of the inspiration.

Tony; what was the other part?

Wade: Ghostbusters.

Tony:<looks at him then his medigun> I can see the resemblance.
