You looked at the time and furrowed your eyebrows. He usually contacted you around seven, but it was almost ten. You heard a tap on the window, and turned to see him.
A smile was on your face as you opened the window and let him in. Sitting down on your bed, he let out a sigh and stared at the ground. You sat down next to him and placed a hand on his shell. "What's wrong?" He closed his eyes and sighed again.
"We were facing a mutant, you know Baxter Stockman? Well, he got mutated into a fly. We couldn't keep him on the ground long enough to subdue him, but I had an open shot when he was in the air. I... it was the only was to make sure he wouldn't hurt anybody else..." You pulled him into a hug and rested your head on his shoulder. "Leo, whatever you did, it was for the greater good."
He burst into tears, clutching your shirt as if it was the last time he would. Rubbing a hand up and down his shell, you whispered sweet nothings into his ear. "It's okay, your okay now. You did the right thing." His sobs quieted after a few minutes.
"Hey, do you feel better now?" He sniffled and let out a muffled 'kinda'. You pulled away from him to cup his face in your hands. "You did what you thought was best. I don't love you any less. Your brothers probably feel the same way."
He smiled and said with a shaky voice, "Thank you so much. You're always there for me. I love you."
"I love you too, my little Leo."
Raph_________ You stretched and sat up as you woke up from an unplanned nap. The sun had already set, so you made the assumption that the turtles were out patrolling. Your phone buzzed and lit up. It was a message from Raph.
