TEACHER- *asks chemistry-based question*Harry raises hand Yes, Harry.

HARRY - *answers question correctly*

TEACHER – Correct. *continues on with the class*

JERK1 – Whispers just loud enough for Harry to hear "Ooh,Mrs Harriett, I just love you so much, want to make out with me after class is over Mrs Harriett?" sniggers along with jerk friends

HARRY– Clenches jaw *comes back with smart and witty retort*

JERK2 – Leans forward from seat behind Harry *responds harshly to Harry's retort*

Lunch bell rings and Harry walks out of school, pulling contraption he made previously out of his bag and walking down the school steps with it.Jerk group comes up behind him and rush down the steps purposefully knocking the contraption from Harry's hands where it falls to the ground and breaks, laughing and shoving him on their way past. Harry looks after them in disgust and bends down to pick it up, examining the damage. Suddenly hears his name called over the loudspeaker to report to the principles office.

Walks into the principles office.

PRINCIPLE – Harry, your parents just called. They want you home immediately.

HARRY – Immediately alert What is it? What's happened?

PRINCIPLE – Looks grave It's your sister.

A few seconds of silence, then Harry turns and heads desperately out of the office.

HARRY – Arriving home from school and walking through the house out the back door towards parents and flashing lights What- (mother and father crying softly turn to look at him and realisation hits him) No.No! Stop! You can't take her! (Runs forward toward the ambulance and medics with stretcher covered in white sheet with figure under it with a hand hanging over the side of the stretcher just visible, familiar bare wrist showing, as if to stop them) She's not gone! There's nothing wrong with her! Don't take her!

FATHER– Grabs Harry, restrains him Harry!(Harry doesn't struggle and stands motionless and shocked while his mother comes up to them and pulls them into a hug still crying) It's okay Harry. It's okay.

POLICE OFFICER –Did you notice anything unusual with her behaviour before the incident?

FATHER – Shakes head No.

POLICE OFFICER –Turns to mother Mrs. *insert last name*, had your daughter ever done anything that might have indicated she was not happy in herself, things along the line of taking drugs, drinking heavily and self harm? Things that could be signs she was struggling with things that may have caused her to act... impulsively, in regards to this incident?

MOTHER – No.Never anything so drastic! Pauses briefly Well, I don't think so.

POLICE OFFICER –What causes you to be uncertain?

MOTHER – Well...oh, I don't know if it was really anything, probably just her being a teenager, but.... the last few months, it just felt like... like she might've been hiding something from us. It just felted more closed off between us, and I thought it was just a normal thing for teenagers to go through with their parents, but now, since well, the incident, I just, I... I'm really not so sure choking back tears and covers mouth with back of hand, leaning back against father.Officer shuffles papers and leans forward as though this is interesting, opening mouth as if to start speaking again.
