|| Ice cream || Kang Haerin x reader

We enter my car

"Where do you wanna go" I say as I look at the mirrors while backing up

"Baskin robins" I hear haerin say as I finish backing up and driving out of Minji's neighbourhood

"Alright"

It was pretty quite for most of the ride except you can hear some fast tapping on haerin's phone

"So you wanna talk about it?" I say finally breaking the awkward silence

"No" Haerin looks away from her phone and looks outside

"Alright" I shrug

We finally arrive at Baskin Robins

"What do you want" I ask her as we enter the store

"Cotton candy" haerin points to the cotton candy ice cream container

"Cone or cup?"

"Cone"

"Okay" I go up to the cashier

"Hey can I get uh one cotton candy as a cone and (ur fav flavour) in a cup/cone (u choose bbg 😻)" I tell them

"Is that everything?" They ask as they tap in the order

"Mhm" I nod and take out my debit card

"That'll be 15.47" they hand me the machine

"Alright" I tap the machine

They give me the receipt and haerin and I wait

"You wanna talk 'bout it now?" I say as I lay on the wall looking at haerin who was standing beside me on her phone

"Sure..." she puts her phone in her pocket and starts to fidget with her sleeves

"Uhm, I told her there's someone else..." Haerin says still fidgeting around with her sleeves

"Hm?" I hum

"Someone else? Who might that be?" I ask her curiously

"Uhm, n-no one" she stutters and gets all flustered

"Alright, if you say so" I pat her head

"One cotton candy and one (fav flavour)!" The waiter shouts from behind the counter

"Oh shit our order" I get up and hand haerin's ice cream to her and grab a spoon for her

"Here ya go!" I dig the spoon into her ice cream

"Thank you!"

"I gotta change real quick" I head to the bathroom and take out my karategi  (a/n I think that's what they call the uniform but idk I js looked it up) and change into it after I put on my belt and then I put my jacket on top

When I get out of the bathroom I tell haerin we need to hurry up and then we go inside my car

"I have to do my karate lessons but I couldn't just leave haerin and minji's house while she's bored as fuck so I should just take her with me" I thought to myself as we drove to the karate dojo

(A/n: I dont do karate and I wanted to taekwondo earlier but I this karate is just easier to write anyways if I get anything wrong please please please correct me I take criticism and help in any way I can even if u call me a shit headed fag in the process anyways back to the story)

"Uh so I have to take you with me to my karate lessons I'm teaching, that good?" I ask haerin for confirmation before we arrive

"Mhm" she hummed while looking down at her phone scrolling through instagram

We arrive at my dojo

My class greets me as I take off my shoes and tell haerin to take off hers

"Good afternoon sensei!" They exclaim in sync as they bow

"Good afternoon class, as you can see we have a guest with us today" I greet them and introduce haerin

"Her name's Haerin and please show her the same respect you show me and your peers in this dojo"

"Now get with a friend and do your usual shit" I say

-time skip 🤭🤭-

I finally finished my lesson and got ready to go home

"You cmon or you just gunna sit there or??" I tap haerin's shoulder

"Huh? O-oh yea" I feel her jump

She gets up and we go to my car

"My place or yours?" I ask her as we enter my car

"Y-yours is closer" haerin stutters

"Are you okay? Are you sick or something? You've been stuttering all day, are you cold?" I worriedly ask her as I feel her forehead

"Yea Im kinda cold" she turns up the heater

"I don't think your "kinda cold" you just put the heater up to 16 degrees"

I take off my jacket and put it on haerin's lap

She looks at me confused

"Keep it, I have a shit ton of those jackets" I say as I back up

"Thank you y/n" I hear her mutter and I see from the corner of my eye, her hugging my jacket

I smile and feel my face heat up a bit
