"That's up to you two."
"Yes… Thank you for today. For joining me in such a strange request."
"Okay. Days like this happen, anyway."
"But that never happened to me." Ike, Yamauchi, Sudo and the other despicable boys complained.
"That only applies to decent people." Fukuyama smiled, eyes closed.
"However, I am decent." Ike said
. "Where?" She rolled her eyes.
"I guess our positions were reversed huh? I was planning to help you, but then you ended up helping me."
"Sorry for acting so full of myself there," I told him.
Ichinose blinked a few times, as if she had said something strange.
"There's no need for you to apologize, Ayanokouji-kun. None at all."
She stretched out his arms to the sky and jumped fromthe railing
"Now it's my turn to help you. If there's anything I can do, I'll do it."
I was wondering how Class B's Ichinose Honami planned to resolve this difficult situation. She had to admit that she really wanted to see him.
That night, I got a call when I was doing some shopping online. My phone was plugged into the wall next to my bed when suddenly its screen lit up. The caller ID displayed the name: Kushida Kikyou. I did a double take to make sure of what I saw. Knowing I wouldn't have the guts to call him back, I wheeled my chair across the room, grabbed my phone from the holder, and flung myself on the bed.
I'm sorry I called you so late. Are you still awake?" she asked.
The students from classes A to C fall silent as Kushida appears on the screen.
"Receiving a call from Kikyou-chan at night, was there a problem back then?" Sato asked Kushida. Trying to get her to open up and relax around him.
"Yeah, you could have called me, you know?" Karuizawa played with a lock of her hair.
Kushida just looked at them. Blank and unreadable face.
"Hmm? Oh. I was thinking about going to bed in a bit. Did you need anything?"
"Sakura-san's digital camera was broken, right? I feel like I'm partly to blame since I made her so nervous. So I wanted to take responsibility for that…
"I don't think you should feel responsible, Kushida. Not in the slightest. Besides, she'll fix it, right? Since it's so important to her, she wouldn't fix it no matter what?"
However, as he spoke I realized that it probably wasn't that simple. Sakura was extremely inept at social interaction and probably lacked the self-confidence to go into a store alone. It was probably similar to how someone would feel dining alone in a restaurant.
"How funny when you said that you are the same too?" Machida said.
"However, I am. I never said that I wasn't. I just spoke about the truth about her." Ayanokoji drank a bottle of water that he bought earlier.
"Um...Hello? The person you're talking about is right here." Haruka sarcastically pointed at Airi, who let out a quiet sound.
It was kind of hard to believe that she could be so shy, but in this world there were all kinds of different people with different personalities. So it wasn't particularly surprising to find a person who lacked all communication skills, right?
