11. Daal Chawal

It was 10:30 in the night, Karan had just come home and changed into nightwear when he heard the bell of their door and was so happy and excited that finally Teju came. He jumped in excitement like a small kid and ran to open the door. Teju had to go home for two days since she had guests at home. Karan would go there to spend time with them and have dinner with them but he would have to come alone at his home since Teju had to be there with the guests. He wasn't happy with this arrangement but he too understood that it was not fair on to the guests. And with a gloomy mood he used to come home. But today Teju was coming again and he was already so excited to come home. As soon as he saw Teju he excitedly jumped on her like a monkey. She laughed and was barely able to carry him. Even though he made sure not to put much of his weight on her but her petite figure could barely hold him. She laughed

"Sunny tu hi toh bol rahe the that I lied in an interview k tum mere upar monkey ki tarah chad jaate ho. And now what are you doing Mr.? "

"Tumhara statement sach kar raha hu. "
And showed his set of teeth.

"Such a baby you are Sunny. "

"Only yours."

" Tumhe nai lagta tum aaj kuch zyada hi cheesy ho rahe ho? "

He stood on the ground and said
"E lo jee, Is madam nu jab cheesy ho toh problem naa ho toh problem. Mei ki kara? " And his expression changed with each word.

And she ran behind him to chase him but Karan was fast and she kuch not catch him. And she stood there in the middle of the living room panting hard. Karan saw and went to her

"Ki hoya baby? "

"Me thak gaya Sunny. Kitna fast bhaagta hai. "

"Awlee come here let me take you to the room. Then you change the clothes and we will sleep. Okay? "

"Okay."

He took her to the room and she went to change the clothes. And went to bed and slept on him.

After a few minutes she saw Karan had closed his eyes.

"Sunny"
she whispered

"Hmmm"

"Are you asleep? "

"Yes and this is my bhoot talking. "

"No Sunnnyyyy I am serious. Are you feeling sleepy? "

"Naa baby. What happened? "

She stood with a jerked and said excitedly "Then let's watch something. "

"Okay baby let's binge watch Manifest."

"Yeah Sunny I too have heard a lot about it. "

They settled on the couch and started watching it.It was 3 in the night and they were in middle of the fifth episode when Teju started feeling hungry.

"Sunny bhook lagi hai. Kuch mangaye kya? "

"Bhook toh mujhe bhi lagi hai. Let's see which places are available at this time. "

They paused the episode and started searching for the places.

"Sunny this place is serving us rolls and Chinese but it's too far from our place and it will take minimum of 45 minutes to reach to our place and I cannot wait for that much time. "
