The day was uneventful for me, like most days. I'm laying down on the floor of my room and I feel like I'm playing dead. I keep hearing my phone buzz, but I'm ignoring it. I'm tired of trying to talk. I'm having a staring contest with my ceiling fan, right now I'm losing. If I think about it hard enough, I can see myself from above. The only thing keeping me from floating away I feel, is the cold hardwood floor of my room. It's stiff and uncomfortable against my bare shoulders and I know when I stand up, I'll be in pain.

The door bell rings but I don't hear it. I'm trying to win against this damn fan.

There's a knock on my door but I'm still ignoring it.

Everything's so loud

"... What are you doing"?

Suddenly the world comes crashing back at me hard and fast. Like someone flipped a switch. Color floods back to my vision, and I feel like someone just ripped me out of the void. My ears ring and burn as I jump. I sit up so fast my head spins and I crash it against my bed frame.

"Ow.. fuck"...

I look over to the presence I sense looming over me. Finally back in my own body as my forehead stings.

Stans looking at me through those deep blue eyes of his. His hands are in his pockets but he's face screams jumpy, and I realize I scared him as much as he did me.

"What the hell are you doing"? He asks me, walking over to look at my forehead, that's still burning.

"I dunno", I shrug. "Feels good not to stand".

"Are you, okay"? He asks me unsure of his own question. I get the feeling he's unsure of the answer he's about to get.

"What the hell are you doing in my room". I ask ignoring him. Suddenly very aware of what's happening in the world around me.

I look down and see how underdressed I actually am.
I'm wearing a tank top and shorts, no bra and white socks, that reach just above my ankles.

I stand up quickly walking over to my closet and throw on a sweatshirt, feeling warmth creep up my face. I keep my hair tucked away under the hood that I keep up.

He just shrugs at me.

"I wanted to hangout, you weren't answering my texts".

"Oh, sorry". I say as I sit on my bed reaching for my phone.

I see evidence of the texts he's talking about and blow air out of my mouth, moving part of my hair away from my forehead.

He sits on the bed with me and I look at him and puff my cheeks out.

"Your mom let me in.."

"It's okay, I'm down to chill... but I'm not leaving my house". I scrunch my eyebrows at him pouting.

"Where are the guys?" I ask him, looking around.

"Actually it's just me, they don't know I'm here". He laughs.

"Why not"? I laugh back.

"I told them I was going home to study". He widens his eyes at me moving his mouth into a thin line.

I giggle at his antics.

"So uh.. don't tell them, yeah?" He asks me.

I raise my brow at him mischievously reaching for my phone again.

"Nuh uh, no". He tries to grab it but I'm too quick.

I jump forward throwing my arm around him shoving my phone in his face with the other. I look to him and last minute, push my lips out and close my eyes. Giving him a playful kissy face. He puts his hand over my head in attempt to push me away, but I snap the blurry picture anyway.
