I heard Adrian say something in the background but I couldn't understand or comprehend his words. He was probably explaining our proposal and the alliance. Kenny diverted his eyes and looked at Adrian, my father also added some inputs. He probably expected to put in mine, but I literally couldn't get anything out.

I steadied my breath as I blinked and wandered my gaze anywhere but him, I didn't even know where to look. I tried to compose and myself and try to be in the meeting, try to concentrate and get over my stunned and flabbergasted phase.

"It will also be of beneficial to you because we'll supply your Mafia with more drugs and weapons." My dad said and I heard Kenny chuckle.

"You think I don't have enough of those ?" He raised his eyebrow as he leaned back in his chair.
Okay I'm not gonna let anyone talk to my father like this.

"Mr Brown, can I speak to you in private please ?" I calmly asked him and he just shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly.

I looked at Adrian and Maddie's dad along with mine, they got the signal and stood up to get out. Kenny looked at the two men he came with and tilted his head to the door. I didn't even realise they were here. I looked at the men who stood up and headed to the glass doors. Wait Jake? I didn't even notice he was in here, but at this point, nothing could shock me anymore.

I waited for everyone to get out then got up and closed the blinds of the glass wall. I turned to Kenny who was already standing tall in his black suit and white shirt. He looked even hotter than the last time I saw- Concentrate!

"What the fuck are you doing ?" I asked as I looked up to him.

"Having a meeting?" He raised his eyebrows as he put his hands inside his pockets.

"You know what I mean." I sighed "I don't know what you're trying to do, but Kenny this isn't you."

He chuckled. "And you know who I am ?"

"I don't, but I know you well enough to know that you hate this world." I tried to get through to him. "you despise crime, let alone people who commit it. This... this is not who you are Kenny."

"That's where you're wrong." He replied. "See the person you're describing? He's gone. The Kenny you thought you knew? He's dead, you broke him."

"I know I messed up, I know I hurt you and I'm really sorry for that. I'll forever regret my actions, I should've told you about your pare-"

"This isn't about my parents anymore." He shaked his head. "I found out the truth about them, so I couldn't care less if you killed them or someone else did. This is about you. This about you lying to me, this is about you deceiving me, betraying me, making me believe you loved me, when in all, you were just using me for your selfish needs."

This was actually the first time Kenny actually spoke to me about this. To think he just walked away five years ago, without a word. The last day I ever saw him. I always wished he could've vented out how he felt that day, atleast I would've known his state of mind. But he didn't vent, he said nothing.

Then he comes back five years later as a mafia leader? My life actually feels like a movie. Why couldn't we meet at a cafe or a grocery store? Like normal people do. A whole fucking Mafia.

"Wether you believe it or not, I did love you. It wasn't meant to go that far Kenny, it wasn't supposed to end like that."

"It doesn't matter now does it ? I won't wait for Karma, Blue. I'll do it myself." He said as he took a step closer to me. "I'm here to shatter your world into pieces, like you did mine. Destroy every little thing that's valuable to you. Starting with your little gang, ending with your family."
