15: Day Off

The team was able to arrest them and Jungwon and Y/n were able to make it back home

"Are you guys ok?" Jay said springing from the couch as he saw them walking in "Yeah we're fine" Y/n said giving him a smile as he hugged both of them

It surprised Y/n but Jungwon was used to Jay's physical affection, Jay will usually gets like this when something traumatic happens, he doesn't care how well he knows you or if he doesn't know you at all, he'll hug you and be worried

"What happened?" He asked and they all headed to the couch to sit down

"We were going to my house to get clothes and money, I didn't have any with me since I left my home in a hurry, I only grabbed the few clothes you guys have seen me wear" Y/n continued causing Jay to sigh

"You didn't try to talk her out of it? Say that we could buy her stuff?" Jay asked "I-" "He did! I refused it though cause I would feel bad if you guys had to pay for me, you're already basically my guards since I'm useless in that area"

Jay nodded and then looked at her bag "Well at least you got your stuff so we won't have to go back there" He said and Jungwon sat up putting his phone on the coffee table in front of them

"Yeah we'll I took this picture of your family photo of your brother, for Heeseung Hyung" Jungwon added making Y/n nod slowly and look down

"Heeseung?" "Yeah, they apparently were friends when they were younger, a month after this picture was taking, he disappeared" Jungwon said and Jay looked at Y/n surprised

"And this is your brother that we never knew about?" Jay asked and she nodded "Wait but we would have seen him in their records, under both Mrs. and Mr. Han, it said children, 1, and under Y/n's it said no siblings" Jay commented and Jungwon looked at Y/n

She shrugged "I didn't know that..." She said and Jay and Jungwon looked at each other

"He's hiding another thing, I'll need to talk to him tomorrow" Jay said "Ill go with you" Jungwon said "No, I want you to stay with Y/n and take a day off" He said "But hyung-" "Jungwon" he said sternly and Jungwon sighed before nodding

"Get some sleep, Ill probably be gone before you wake up since Ill get it done early and we can work together tomorrow, but I don't want you going out for work ok? Stay here" He said and Y/n and Jungwon nodded to him like little kids

Jay always gets so overprotective, it can be a good thing and a bad thing

Jungwon motioned for Y/n to go ahead of him, she gave him a small smile and went to walk to her room, Jungwon and Jay behind her

Y/n's POV

I closed my bedroom door behind me and let out a deep sigh

I was feeling too many emotions at one time

I'm confused

I don't want to say it but I've been noticing myself get happier and feel more comfortable when Jungwon is around and not in a protective because he's suppose to be there kinda way

After what happened at my house, and I thought I lost him, it felt different, it made me realize how much I really care about him and how much I worry about him

Some of the things he does makes me feel warm inside and kinda queasy

I know most people would say it's because I have a small crush on him but I don't want to believe it

He's an agent and I'm just a girl he's protecting, we're also in the middle of solving a murder case of his family and mine as well as others

I shouldn't be focusing on "my little crush" and neither should he...if he is that is

He's most likely not though, he's probably had to work with and protect a bunch of other girls in his career

And he's probably like trained himself to be so focused on his work that he understands he doesn't have time for "crushes"

It's probably just me over thinking everything since I'm so overwhelmed right now with all that just happened

I'll just forget about and when I wake up it will be different, I'll be more calm

We're going to be alone here together tomorrow, why would Jay do that to me??

I mean he doesn't know...but still!

It's not like anything is going to happen

I just can't stop thinking about him though and what tomorrow is going to be like

My stomach felt butterflies when I thought about him being on top of me when he was protecting me from the men who broke into my house

I know it's his job basically but still, it gives me butterflies

Also when he was being so sweet and calming me down in such a stressful situation when I'm sure he was stressed out too

Ugh

I hate it, I have it, I hate it

Jungwon's POV                        The next morning

It's the next morning and I woke up pretty early since I'm used to having too everyday

I was able to catch Jay before he left

I made myself a coffee and sat on the couch watching TV, Y/n seemed to still be asleep

I was thinking about how awkward it would be if we really did just stay here and wait for Jay

Alone...doing nothing...

We might have to sneak out-

I heard a door open and looked over to see Y/n walking out of her room

"Good morning, it's already 9:25" I said and she smiled "Good morning"

She walked over to the kitchen as my eyes went back in the TV

"God, what are we going to do all day? We can work on the case without him? Fill him in when he fills us in?" She said and I nodded

"We could but I think taking a break is a good idea, especially for you" I said and stood up

"Let go somewhere" I said and she looked at me confused "But Jay oppa said to stay-" "We'll Jay doesn't have to know, Im still an agent, you'll be safe" I said and she nodded smiling

"Where are we going?" She asked leaning on the counter, I leaned over on the other side across from her "Where do you want to go?" I asked

Y/n's POV

Butterflies...

"Um..." I started and thought about it while also trying to shake off the funny feeling

"Have you ever gone roller skating?" I asked "Roller skating?" "Yeah, it's fun" I said and he smiled kinda embarrassed "I've never gone, Ill probably fall"

"You'll be fine, I'll go get ready" I said taking a sip of my water and rushing to my room

Jungwon's POV

The way she got all excited was cute...

I say that as just a compliment, not in any other way
