Jungwon's POV A month later

We are now back in Seoul, and we were able to answer some of those lingering problems tying loose ends

We interview Mr. Bang and anyone he knows where he was during all the murders, he had reasonable alibis and after checking in, they all checked out, he couldn't have killed them

Then with the new name, Kim Maeri, we looked her up on the database and found out she was now attending a high school in Seoul

It's for kids who irresponsible dropped out and weren't able to get a full high school education, so they make you take a big test and if they believe you deserve a second chance, they give you one

She is now finishing her senior year, which she wasn't able to since she dropped out to supposedly help Mr. Gam

By the way, during this past month, what we used to get that database was our official equipment sent to a penthouse from our company which we are now living in to work on this case

"Jungwon, it's time to interview Damhee" Jay said, yes, he was referring to  Y/n's aunt

Let's take a flashback shall we?

"Y/n open up!" "Shit"

Y/n grabbed the gun from her bag and clicked it holding it to the door as Jay and I both took out our guns

"What the fuck is going on?" Jay asked and she didn't answer him but the other "Get lost Damhee, I know that you just came here to kill me" She said

Her aunt?

"Really Y/n? That's how you refer to your aunt, by her first name? You little brat!" She said and kicked open the door and started shoot causing us to immediately bend down behind the sofa's

She stopped shooting and looked around, she didn't realize we were cops since we were undercover and not in uniform

"And who are these guys, huh? Are you turning into a little whore slut just like your mother" She said and I could feel Y/n's rage from here, I was in that position of people talking shit about my parent who is dead

She stood up and shot hitting her in the shoulder before squatting back down

Damhee dropped her gun because of the pain in her shoulder "You bitch!" We took it as a sign to get up and run to her

Jay kicked the gun away as I quickly grabbed her arms putting them behind her back "What the fuck is this?!" She yelled and I heard something behind me from outside, the door was still open

I looked out and saw someone running towards me with a gun, they shot my leg causing me to fall to the ground groaning "Won!" Jay yelled and then took his gun out pointing it at the younger man who was closer to our age maybe younger

"Seonho, don't!" Y/n yelled also pointing her gun at him as Damhee was holding her shoulder and trying to breath probably falling to the floor as well as me taking off my button up and tying it around my leg while wincing at the pain I was feeling

"Put the gun down now" Jay said giving Seonho a stern look "Do it Seon, I didn't know the bitch would have cops with her" Damhee said looking up at both of them with an angry disappointed look

Jay was with Damhee in one room patching her up as she was handcuffed to the bed post, we needed her alive and well for questioning, we called in a team to come pick them up
