WARNING! This guy's a douche. Just sayin'.

Hey. The name's Aiden Evans. I'm the most popular boy at San Francisco Heights High School (A/N Yep, that's a made up school. I'm pretty sure). As you can expect from an attractive, athletic, awesome, popular and humble guy like me, I'm quite appealing to, well, everyone. I am muscly, with perfect blonde hair and incredible blue eyes. But despite all the lovely specimen here at San Francisco Heights who wold love to go out with me, the girl I've been going after for weeks now just won't accept my gracious invitation to be my girlfriend. I mean, who wouldn't take up that offer? I'm amazing! It's probably because she's playing hard to get. What else can it be?

Before school on a regular Tuesday, I sauntered up to the gorgeous Annabeth Chase. This will be the day she says yes, I can feel it. If she's been counting (like me), she'll know she's turned me down nineteen times this week . The twentieth time's a charm, right? I mean, twentieth anniversaries are a big deal. So's this.

Back to my magnificent life. So, I walked up to Annabeth at her locker, and her beauty (which is equal to mine, which is excellent) took my breath away as usual. She had curly hair the colour of gold (I'm rich. There's plenty of it in my house.) and grey eyes the colour of silver (lots of that too! Did I mention I'm rich?). She had a great body and a great tan. I decided I would use a pick up line I made up in our Greek mythology class. I only take it because Annie takes it too. I'm not a nerd.

I tapped Annababe on the shoulder and said, "Hey Annie, is your mum Artemis, because our love is beautiful!" I know, pretty clever, right?

Annabeth stiffened, before sighing and turning to face me. "Aiden, for the twentieth time," Annabeth sighed. I knew she'd been counting! "I don't want to go out with with you. I have a boyfriend. And stop calling me Annie."

"Right. Your 'boyfriend'. Look, Annababe, stop playing hard to get. I know you love me. I know this 'boyfriend from New York' is a made up weirdo." I said, rolling my eyes in a very attractive way.

"Look, Aiden, my boyfriend's in town this week. He's picking me up after school. If I introduce him, and prove he's real, will you quit harassing me?" Annabeth said, exasperated.

"Sure, I'd love to give you a ride home. See you after school." I smirked, before walking away confidently (as always). I heard Annabeth scoff, slam her locker, and stomp away.

---------time skip to after school---------

So, after a gruelling day of school, aka an awesome day of me being cool, I walked out of the school gates, before heading to the carpark to witness Annabeth finally crack, unable to resist my allure.

I waited for about a minute before I heard someone walked behind me, and turned to see Annabeth. I opened up my arms, expecting a hug or a kiss, because duh, but Annie brushed right past me and approached a blue convertable Maserati Spyder (A/N I don't know cars, but this is the one Percy wants in The Titan's Curse) with a tall guy leaning up against it. "Seaweed brain!" Annabeth called out, and the guy whipped his head around. Tall guy had tousled black hair and bright sea green eyes. He was handsome with a great build.

"Wise girl!" The guy said with a New York accent, before coming away from the car to hug her. No. Is this real? Annie wasn't bluffing earlier? He said something into her ear. It sounded like "I mist you so touch!" I'm guessing that wasn't it though. Before I could think about it that much I notice that the guy was staring at me. "Um... hi?" He said, his arm still draped around Annabeth's shoulder. "Ignore him, Percy." Annabeth muttered. "He's that annoying twit I was telling you about."

"Oh. Right." He said. He sounded kind of... angry?

Annie then kissed Prissy. Right on the mouth. I couldn't believe this was real life. Being the strong and fierce guy I was, I walked straight up to New York Ninny and went to punch him in the cheek. That's what you get for trying to mess with Aiden Evans and his one true love! But, somehow, without even seeing me coming, Prissy caught my wrist and twisted, making me whimper. I tried to get away, but the guy had a tight grip on me. "Seriously dude?" He said.

"Annabeth is mine! Let go of me!" I said courageously, with only a little bit of whimpering.

"Aiden, how many times to I have to tell you?" Annabeth cried "I'm not yours! You're a spoilt brat! I hope never to have you speak to you again, or I'll be letting Percy know." Percy tightened his grip, to prove a point. "She doesn't need me. She can do this on her own. I hoped I've warned you enough." snarled Percy, before letting me go. I dropped to the ground, and watched Percy and Annabeth get into the car and drive away without another word.

I'm still awesome. I went easy on that loser.

But maybe I will leave Annabeth alone.

Sorry about that guy. Anyway, I hope you liked this chapter :)
