After I heard from Ronnie that Sheila died the night we had our girls night I couldn't take being in the same house as Elena when she was basically the reason Sheila's dead. So I asked Jenna if Fallon, Veronica, and I could take a vacation to New York if I kept up on school work with my laptop and she said it was fine by her as Fallon is a responsible adult. Liv said she'd keep me updated on all things Mystic Falls.

It was a few nights before the Miss Mystic competition and like Elena I had signed up. I had Fallon drive me back and help me find a dress and an escort.

We were in Fallon's car. "So Marcus has a brother that said he's willing to come and be your escort. His name is Oscar and he works for the Rosewood Police Department as a Detective." Fallon explained. "Great. Now all I need it a dress. Thanks Fal." I said. "No problem. I can help you with your hair and makeup as well." She said. "Please do. I know what I'll be doing for hair and makeup. I also wanna get my nails done." I said. "Okay. We'll do a walk in and just compel the workers." Fal said.

"I definitely don't expect to win. If anything Caroline deserves to win. She's earned it more than anyone in this competition." I explained to Fallon as she did the finishing touches on my hair. "We'll you look amazing." Fallon said. "I agree." Ollie said. "Now for the last touch." Fallon said. "Here. Your neck looks a little bare." She said putting a necklace on.

"Right then. Off you go. Oscar is waiting downstairs." Fallon said and they both left the room.

"Thanks for doing this." I said as we started the dance. "You're welcome. You look beautiful, if I may say." He said. "Thank you. You look handsome." I said. We didn't talk the rest of the dance.

"The winner, of this years Miss Mystic Falls Pageant is....CAROLINE FORBES." The Mayor exclaimed. I clapped with everyone else and congratulated her.

It was an hour later when Ric and Jenna came up to me. "Hey do you need a ride back?" Ric asked. "Sure. Fallon left earlier and Ollie is staying back to help her mom with something." I said as we walked to Ric's car.

We got home and I quickly showered and threw on the outfit I'd wear on the way back to NY. I slipped on my blue converse just as Fallon honked. I went downstairs and said my goodbyes and we were off.
