"I'll go there alone. I'll be fine, Mom." He answered.
I'll be fine kasi andun naman si Eleanor.
His mother looked disappointed with his answer. Hindi na lang niya ito pinansin at nagpaalam na para makaalis. Then he went straight to Eleanor's house.

"You're here." Nakangiti si Eleanor sa kanya nang lapitan siya nito. Napangiti na din siya habang pinagmamasdan si Eleanor. Nakataas ang buhok nito in a sophisticated way while wearing a dress na may nakaburdang mga imahe ng bulaklak. She looked lovely, as always, pero mas mukha itong mature ngayon.
"You look lovely," Komento niya. It was the truth, so he wanted to tell her. And besides, he wanted to let Eleanor have a glimpse of what he thinks about her.
"Thank you." She smirked, "You look dashing, Chance baby." Ngumiti ito as she patted his shoulder. And he didn't know what to say. Eleanor looked composed and everything, samantalang siya ay natahimik at hindi na mapakali ng purihin siya nito. Baliw na nga yata siya.
Nag-iwas siya ng tingin at nagkunwaring pinagmamasdan ang pagbabago sa bahay para sa birthday ni Lana. Ginanap ang party sa malaking area sa likuran ng bahay nila Eleanor kung saan naroon din ang swimming pool. Maganda naman ang pagkakaayos pero wala siya sa sarili niya. He knew he was blushing, if that even makes sense.
Wala naman kasi yatang lalaking kinikilig.
"Where's your gift nga pala? Isasama ko na sa mga regalo ng bisita." Nilingon niya ito bago iabot ang nakabalot na regalo, na si Eleanor din naman ang pumili. Eleanor left for a while patungo sa table na kinalalagyan ng lahat ng regalo para sa celebrant at inilagay doon ang regalo niya. He looked stupid as he watched her move. He's gone crazy for real. All because of Eleanor Kai Gonzales.
Ironically though, he doesn't feel bad that he's crazy about this girl. Mas lalo pa yata siyang sumaya sa buhay niya.
Eleanor came back after a while at hindi niya maitatago niya dahil sa kanya pa rin lumapit ito kahit madami pang pwedeng asikasuhin.
"You look bored." Eleanor cocked her head to the side, studying his expression.
"Are you okay? Gusto mong sa loob muna ng bahay?" Alok nito. Chance could only nod and agree with her. It looks like he's whipped for real. And he knows it.
He knows Eleanor could play with him for all she wants, and he would even hand her the remote.
Pumasok sila sa loob kung saan abala ang mga kasambahay para sa party but he was surprised nang hilahin pa siya ni Eleanor hanggang makarating sila sa veranda ng third floor ng bahay.
