I was meeting my other friends today at Jacob's house. By other friends I meant Xolo, Jacob, Peyton, Tanner, Mary and Gianni, my Cobra Kai family.
After lockdown and when covid restrictions finally let up, we were so happy to be able to see each other again. It had been a while.
Jacob and Xolo's shared house was the closest to all of us, in the heart of NYF. I mean NYC.
I had brough fuzzy peach popsicles along with me, as a gift for us all. Mostly me though.
I had finally made it to their house and knocked on the door. I could hear yelling and shouting from inside which was probably Gianni and his diet Coke.
I pound on the door this time and Mary, with an annoyed expressions lets me in.
"What happened?" I ask, closing the door behind me.
She chuckles and points towards the chaos.
I first saw Gianni spiderman posing on Xolo's back, somehow. And then Peyton dying of laughter while recording Jacob dancing with a horsehead and Tanner putting out a fire.
"What do you mean?" I turn to Mary. "Seems normal enough."
Mary chuckles as we both help Tanner put out a fire and then I push Gianna off of Xolo, causing him to fall.
