10 Months After Meeting Simo
POV - Whitley
"So sister, how is applying to Beacon going," I asked.
'I don't know why I even bother, she hates me'
"What do you want," Weiss snipped.
'What did I just say'
"I would like to have a conversation with my sister," I answered, my voice calm trying not to show any emotions.
"When have you ever tried to have a conversation with me," she asked.
'You want the list'
"I have tried many times, but you are always too busy," I answered.
"Then why now, you clearly know that I'm very busy," she asked.
'You act just like him, and I know how mad you'd be if you recognized it'
"Because you aren't currently doing anything so I figured that it would be as good a time as any," I answered.
"For your information, I am doing well, I am on my way to completing the last of Father's tasks," she said.
"Tasks," I asked.
"The ones he gave me which will determine if I am allowed to go to Beacon or not," she answered.
"Well good luck," I said before turning and walking toward Felix.
'What did I do to make you hate me'
"How'd it go," Felix asked.
"She wants nothing to do with me," I answered.
"Just give her time," he said.
"I know... I just... I don't know," I said.
"Your family loves you they just don't know how to show it," he said.
"I hope so," I said.
"Ok everyone except Jacques," he said as we started walking toward my room.
"Well it's a good thing he's not my family," I said.
We both chuckled at this, trying to keep quiet as we walked through the halls.
"Oh I ment to say, James sent you a letter," he said.
"What," I asked.
'I told him never to send my anything'
"It's a letter to you Whitley," he answered.
"I see," I said.
"I'm pretty sure it had the academy's stamp on it," he said.
"What are you implying," I asked.
"I'm implying that soon, you, your sisters, and me, wont have have to stay here," he answered.
"Yes because Winter is here often," I said.
"Not my point," he said.
"You know why I don't necessarily like them, but why I so desperately want to have a relationship with them," I said.
"I know kid, I've tried to tell her but she thinks with you being who you are that you don't need her help," he said.
"Yes because I don't want the help of my oldest sister in becoming a better person," I said.
"Once again not what I ment," he said.
"Then what do you mean," I yelled losing my temper, "I'm sorry I-I didn't mean to raise my voice."
