(Two Years Later - Years 2043, Flowers, A Okonomiyaki Restaurant)

*Haru's Pov*

A week after that concert, I read about Amou Kanade being forced to retire due to a permanent throat injury that ruined her voice. I guess that's the price she paid for the song she intended to kill herself.

As for Kazanari Tsubasa, she continues her singing career, however she only releases CDs or Albums and doesn't sing on stage anymore. I don't know about others, but personally, I can clearly feel the sadness and a void of loneliness in her songs.

I don't know why but I really feel like it's partly my fault for making her like that. If given the chance, I would really like to help her get back to the way she was. Her and Kanade's previous songs always shine when I listen to them.

As for me, I'm still the same as I was two years ago. I still maintain my normal life at the coffee shop and fight with Noise whenever they appear. After that concert, news about me appeared more and more on TV, some reporters tried to interview me after I defeated Noise but then I ended up running away. I don't want to get caught up in a long interview where they might jump at the chance to catch me.

Right now, I'm having lunch at an Okonomiyaki restaurant called Flower. Two weeks after the Zwei Wings concert, I went to this place while passing by by accident. The Okonomiyaki made by the owner of the shop is absolutely delicious and that makes it my favorite place.

Haru: So, from tomorrow you two will become students of Lydian Academy?

I asked the two girls sitting next to me. The girl with light brown hair sitting next to me is named Tachibana Hibiki, and the girl sitting next to Hibiki is her best friend Kohinata Miku.

Hibiki: That's great, isn't it? I can't believe that I will be going to the same school as Tsubasa-san.

Haru: You really admire her, don't you?

I shook my head while looking at Hibiki's excitement as she nodded repeatedly. Miku on the other side just shook her head dejectedly.

Miku: Haru-san, you won't believe what she looks like when it comes to Tsubasa-san.

Haru: I know, right? She looks like a three year old.

Hibiki: Grezzz, Haru, Miku...

She puffed up her red cheeks like a child which made me a little amused.

Haru: And, I believe Miku will have a hard time with you at Lydian Academy.

Miku: Quite a bit.

Hibiki: What do you mean!?

Haru: That you'll be so excited for tomorrow and then fall asleep leading to you being late on the first day of school. Although I admit, Miku's efforts will keep you from oversleeping, but you still will.

Hibiki: I wouldn't do that.

Miku: You will.

Hibiki: You too, Miku? Why do you make me sound like I'm a bad girl!?

Haru/Miku: Because you are Hibiki.

Hibiki: How cruel!

I shook my head while Miku was giggling beside Hibiki.

By the way, Hibiki is the same girl who was injured 2 years ago because of the concert incident. I met her with Miku at this diner and we became friends after that.

Haru: Friends, huh...

I mumbled in a voice barely enough for myself to hear when I brought up the topic of friends. I wonder if it's good that I have friends.
