CH.6 bonding time

You held your salmon infront of your chest like hiccup,as you had actually lost your knife,you thought you left it at the workshop but it wasnt there and you hadnt found it since,so you were completely defense less,you both walked around looking for the two reptiles,you heard hiccup gasp and turned to see the night fury slink down from a small rock formation,he sniffed the air,before growling at hiccup.

Hiccup held the fish out with one hand whilst the other held his tunic nervously,you stood behind him scanning the area for the other one,the night fury slowly made his way over to hiccup as his eyes dilated the closer he got to the fish,he opened his mouth and made a gurgling sound before his eyes shot down and hissed,backing up and becoming aggresive.

Hiccup quickly switched the fish to his other hand whilst he searched for what had angered the dragon,he pulled his tunic aside and showed the dragon his belt with the knife attached,hiccup tested his luck and put a hand on the knife,the nightfury growles more and got ready to pounce,"dont do that!"you quietly scolded him,"what-what do I do"he whispered back,"get rid of it,he clearly dosnt like it"he grabbed the dagger with the tips of his fingers and dropped it by his feet.

The nightfury then motioned its head towards the water whilst eyeing the knife,hiccup then used his foot to pick the knife up and throw it into the water,hearing the splash and seeing it disappear into the watery depths the dragon looked back up at hiccup before sitting down like a cat,your eyes widened slightly at how the hostility faded so quickly,you then turned around hearing a coo to see the white one uncloacking itself.

So it was watching you to see if you were going to harm it?,you backed away from hiccup as the white dragon kept its eyes on you,you slowly offered the fish towards it like hiccup did,it reluctantly followed after seeing its darker counterpart go for it,it slowly crept towards you,once close enough it opened its mouth and you held your hand out more,the dragon snatching it,swiftly taking it out your hands with its teeth before eating it,afterwards it looked at you with slightly dilated eyes slowly stalking closer as you backed up.

"I dont have anymore-"you stuttered as it started to sniff you,you then realized that it was probally making sure that you didnt have a weapon on you like hiccup,you patted your self down and held your hands up,"I dont have anything on me see"you smiled sheepishly at it before doing the same thing the black one had did,you looked at the piece of fish on the ground then at hiccup as if asking him for help.

However he just smiled at you awkwardly,you gulped and picked up the half fish on the ground,the dragon infront of you cooed with dilated eyes,expectantly looking at you and then at the fish.

You look at the dragon as it tilts its head,"I-i already are today"you say as you slowly go to put it down on the ground,you wernt sure If it understood you though so to emphasize you put a hand to your stomach and rubbed it,the dragon made a trilling sound and its ear nubs lowerd slightly,its eyes narrowing at you as if making a pouty or annoyed face.

The dragon then looked over to the water and had an idea,it picked you up by the scruff of your shirt and took you over to the pond,dropping you at the edge of it before dipping its paw into the water and looking at you.you looked at it with a raised brow before your eyes widened,"oh",you dipped the fish into the water and swayed it abit as the dragon watched intensely.

You then brought the fish out and looked at it hesitantly,taking a quick look at the dragon who's eyes were burning a whole through you,you gulped and took a bite,after washing it the taste actually wasnt that bad,you smiled at it and nodded,it cooed at you,its stiff stature become relaxed for a second, as it gave you a gumy smile which surprised you.

You then heard the night fury roar,the dragon looked over before looking back at you,it huffed and threw some water at you before prancing over to the other dragon.who was happily setting itself down,the white night fury walked over to the pond and started to swim and wash itself in it,whilst it was doing that you decided to go over to hiccup and nightfury,you sat next to hiccup and the nightfury who now had its face covered by its tail fin.
