"Today is all about attack!,nadders are quick and light on their feet,your job is to be quicker and lighter!"gobber announced leaning on the roof of the arena, hearing fishlegs distant scream.you had found yourself lost in the maze with no one beside you,yes you even somehow lost hiccup.
you then heard the sound of the squawking become louder as you ran,"look for its blind spot,every dragon has one.find it,hide in it and strike!"you heard it fire at someone close by so you quickly turned the other way,"blindspot yes,deafspot not so much.".
After alot of running around you bumped into hiccup who seemed more interested about bugging gobber about night furys then focusing on the task at hand,"hey-hey,so how would one sneak up on a night fury?""no ones ever met one and lived to tell the tale,now get in there!"you both backed up as hiccup continued,"i know,I know,but hypothetically-"before he could continue you heard a whisper yell,"hiccup,(name)!"you both turned to see Astrid and snotlout hunched against one of the walls with their sheilds infront of them?"get down!"she motioned with her sheild and snotlout nodded looked at you both with furrowed brows before Astrid peeked around the corner.
She quickly ducked back down as you heard the nadder get dangerously close,you ducked next to snotlout with hiccup doing the same next to you,Astrid recoiled before throwing her self in the opening,putting her sheild on the ground before rolling behind the the neighbouring wall,snotlout did the same and hiccup nudged your shoulder,you gulped and tried it,somehow succeeding as you smiled and looked back to hiccup,who unfortunately got the short end of the stick as the sheild weighed him down and the nadder spotted him.
He yelped and quickly got up,you both ran and split up,you then realized that he was probally going to get himself killed,with his new interest for night fury knowledge,so you turned around and ran back in hiccups direction.
you caught up to him on time to see Astrid behind him with the nadder hot on her tail in pursuit as its body slammed into wall,the wall falling over as the rest of the walls started to follow soon after like a domino affect,you stood there looking at hiccup as he continued on his rant about how a night fury might resemble a cat until the others ran by and hearing gobber call hiccups name you instinctively follow the direction the others went.
You then saw hiccup get slammed to the ground as Astrid jumped off one of the walls,her axe getting stuck on his sheild as the nadder started to run at them,she then kicked off him holding her axe that was now connected to hiccups sheild and hit the nadder round the head,with the sheild breaking into splinters.
The nadder walked off,dazed from the hard hit as Astrid frustratedly spun around facing hiccup,"is this some kind of joke of a joke to you?,our parents war is about to become ours.figure out wich side your on."you walked up to her,pushing the hilt of her axe away from hiccup as you glared at her"lets not point axes at each other"she looked at you with pursed lips most likely going to retort,she through her hands down in a fit as she then walked off,you rolled your eyes and helped hiccup up, both of you leaving the arena.
Hiccup had once again,dragged you both back to the ravine,fish in hand,"so would you mind telling me what this is for?,"you asked as you held up the fish he had provided you with,"just wait"is all he said,he walked ahead, sheild raised,he peaked out from the top of the sheild throwing the fish into the open and stepped back,after that nothing happened so he moved forward again surveying the area.
he moved forward again and grunted,accidentally getting the sheild stuck,he pulled and shoved but it didnt budge,you face palmed went to try yourself.
Still no luck,you looked frustratedly at the sheild before hiccup knelt and crawled under it,you did the same and entered the cove,once out hiccup tried to move the sheild again,still nothing,he looked at you and you nodded your head toward the ravine,silently telling him to give up as it was to wedged in to get back.
