Currently young (name) was in the mitsed of this with her father,being the only capable child out of the two to even be on the battle feild,caught in her own world as she tries not to get killed,A monstrous nightmare spewed fire at the ground beside you whilst you side stepped, "Hiccup!"the voice of your father called out as you looked to see stoic holding hiccup up by the scruff of his shirt, "What is he doing out agai-..?"he pointed an accusing finger at hiccup before throwing him towards you"get inside!",not giving your scrawnier half the time to defend himself as he stepped forward looking to take down One of the many airborne lizards.
He then picked up a wooden cart throwing it at a nadder that had just flown by,hitting it head on,he asked for a damage report you wernt listening to before he regained your attention,after noticing hiccups absents,"(name),get hiccup back inside!",you looked at him with agape mouth,you were finally let out to help with a raid,and you have to go watch your brother?.
He gave you a stern look before you ran after your brothers distance form amidst the chaos.
Though the only problem was that you had already lots him ,you groaned and mentaly scolded yourself at losing him so easily,"simple orders,simple orders,just go watch hiccup (name),make father/dad happy"
You carried on searching the crowded outdoors for your scrawny brother,"can't look away for two thor forsaken seconds".
You looked around thinking of a place he would run off to,when an explosion caught your attention,you looked over seeing some of the other village kids that were around yours and hiccups age walk dramatically infront of said explosion,"show offs",it was then that you spotted hiccup staring at them dreamily out the window of the workshop,you groaned and dragged yourself to the workshop.
"Pleas 2 minutes I'll kill a dragon-",when you had entered the workshop it seemed that he and gobber were having abit of an altercation but that didnt stop you from piping up,"I think you mean the dragon will kill you in 2 minutes"gobber turned to you not expecting your arrival in the workplace but hiccup,ever the monologue lover continued,"my life will get infinitely better,I might even get a date.""sure you will"you snorted and punched his shoulder,quietly scolding him for leading you on a wild goose chase.
"You cant lift a hammer""you cant swing an axe"you interrupted,"you cant even throw one of these"he held up a bola near the window as a passing viking snatched them,before throwing it at a passing gronkle,you clicked your tongue before turning to hiccup was was now rehearsing his counter argument,"ok,fine but this will throw it for me"he put his hand on an invention of his,you raised a brow before quickly moving back as it automatically shot a bola at one of the vikings waiting at the the shop window,which irked gobber slightly
"See?now this right here is what I'm talking about"he raised his voice slightly, walking towards hiccup towering over him,you furrowed your eyebrows feeling sympathy for him,hiccup stammered before attempting to retort "Mild calibration issues-" "Hiccup!" He put his hook to hiccup chest "If you every want to get out there to fight dragons..."he then took a step back "you need to stop all this"he then motioned his hands to hiccup,you furrowed your brows and crossed your arms,"but you just pointed to all of me"hiccup said his tone was hard to read but you could tell he sounded quite upset.
Gobber triumphantly hit hiccups chest"yes that's it!stop being all of you"gobber said abit to excitedly, "Oh"hiccup narrowed his eyes and side eyed gobber, "oh,yes"gobber said mimicking hiccup. "You,sir,are playing a dangerous game,keeping this much raw vikingness contained?"he said attempting to one up gobber as he dramatically scooped his hands near his chest."there will be consequences!"he stood up in gobber's face but gobber was far from fazed before he turned around,"I'll take my chances.sword.sharpen.now"hiccup was thrown a large metal sword as he went to the sander,you leaned on the wall watching him sharpen the sword. You didnt exactly know what to do in this situation.
You put a comforting hand on hiccups back and gave him a comforting smile,silently comforting him,he turned around and smiled back,giving you a side hug quickly before contining to sand,you went back to leaning on the wall whilst looking for something to entertain yourself with.
This was going to be along night...
A/N-well hello I finally built up the courage to actually publish this I hope you enjoyed the first chapter,sorry it was short :(, Dont fret though as the other chapters get longer,I have most of the other chapters for httyd 1 written so far,so it's just rereading them and completing them so they make sense and stuff.
