Donnie's POV:

Over the past couple of days Donnie started building crutches for Nat. They did have conventional crutches, but those tended to be a hassle to deal with, these would be able to stand on their own if she needed to use her hand for a sec, also they would adjust to help her sit down and stand up easier. Why he was doing this, he didn't really know. Well I know why, I wanted to make her something helpful. But I don't know why this is the only thing I could think to make.

It had been about a week since their initial cuddle fest, and they had had a few more over the past couple of days, during times she had nightmares or couldn't get to sleep. He still didn't know why he was perfectly ok with doing that, but he again decided not to dwell on it.

"Hey Dee?" Came a voice from the entrance of his lab.

"Yeah?" He turned in his swivel chair to see Raph.

"Not to be a mother hen," Raph said leaning against the door way, "but it's 10:30. You should probably think about going to bed."

Wait really. He looked down at the clock on his wrist tech, sure enough, 10:30. I've been in here for way to long. "Ok, but I'm only doing this because I know that you will bother me all night if I don't." He said heading over to leave with his older brother.

"You better believe it." Raph said following him, they said good night as they split to go to their rooms.

He felt the slimy tendrils touch his back. He shivered feeling slightly sick, refusing to open his eyes. Ewe, ewe, ewe. He thought over and over. He felt his feet leave the floor. Shit, shit, shit... he was consumed. He felt nothing and then everything at once. He felt every inch of the ship. He could feel Mikey, and the kranng heading towards him. He stoped the kranng's advance with ease.

"Ohhh, good. He is right where he needs to be." He heard the voice he had come to hate and fear say.

Wait what? That's not how this played out.

"We needed someone who could control the tecnodrome for us, and here you are."

His mind wasn't his anymore. The kranng was released and he felt Mikey get torn to shreds. He felt Leo's body go limp in the upper levels. And he moved the technodrome move further out of the portal and into the city.

Donnie woke up with a lurch, gasping for air. He felt hot tears on his face, and he was breathing short and raspy. You didn't do that, the kranng lost, everything is ok. He finally calmed down enough to get up. Just get a drink and head to the lab. He did get his drink, but on his way to his lab, he past the medbay. He hesitated outside the door. I guess it couldn't hurt to check on her could it? He decided to check, just to be sure she was ok. He pulled back the curtain to find her wide awake.

"Oh, I-I'm sorry I thought you were asleep." Donnie said getting flustered.

She looked at him and smiled. "So did you just come to watch me sleep?"

"What? No! That would be creepy." He trailed of. Ok I guess it is creepy either way.

Her smile faded and she cocked her head to the side. "Are you ok."

"Me? Oh yeah." He said, "just was heading to the lab-"

"You had a nightmare didn't you?" She said realization on her face.

"I-no. What would make you.... is it that obvious?" He said defeated.

"I can feel emotions, remember? You are stressed and anxious. That plus your late night stop in, it's not that hard to guess."
