"Ross Park - our valedictorian will now do his speech. Class of 2021 can you please move into the front seats for me?"
As the other students slowly file off the stage, Richie gently squeezes Ross' arm mouthing: 'you'll be fine'.

"Commander?"
A figure walks up to an alien looking creature sitting in a chair.
"Yes...?" the figure sounded bored, frustrated even "Please tell me this is to inform me that we're finally there?"
"Yes sir, we've already done a brief scan and the emperor was right. This planet does appear to be connected the deepest to this power source he's after"
The commander sighs, waving his hand dismissively.
"Find something that can point us in its direction or leave me be!"
"Yes Commander!"
The commander watched his subordinate walk away before staring out the huge window into the endless void of space. There was a huge blue and green planet in front of him, a planet known as Earth.
It was quite the trip to get here, given he was initially stationed on the completely opposite side of the Galaxy but regardless this was where he was commanded to go.
Hm...actually...
He looks up, gesturing for another subordinate to come over.
"You"
"Yes Sir?"
"Organize some information regarding the denizens of this planet. I want to know what we're walking into"
"Yes Commander!"
The commander then stands up, walking up to the soldiers controlling the ship.
"Conceal us behind this planet's moon, keep us out of range of their detection, if they have a way to detect us. I want to keep the element of surprise if possible"
The soldiers all nod quickly, the commander turns to leave for the time being.
No point wasting his time here when they still had hardly anything to go on.

Ross aggressively flops down into one of the chairs.
"That absolutely sucked"
Richie broke out into laughter, flicking his friend's forehead.
"Sucked? Ross, you yet again made teachers cry!"
"It sucked"
Richie huffed, grabbing him and pulling him into a headlock ruffling his hair quickly.
"Oh? It sucked did it? No it didn't! Say it!"
"Gisa! Stop!" Ross shouts, laughing.
"You two look like you're having fun"
Richie lets Ross go, still laughing as they face Adam.
"Yeah, well Princey here was talking bad about himself again"
"I just said my speech sucked!"
"And you're wrong~!"
Adam laughed, tapping Richie on the shoulder.
"Hey, April wanted to talk to you. She noticed your father wasn't around"
Richie's face dropped.
"It's...to be expected"
"Still, go talk to her. You might like what she's proposing"
