"This is important!"

Richard looks away, nodding weakly.

"Yeah...I guess..."

His father was quick to make his way out of the building barely muttering a goodbye. Richard huffs, pushing his bowl away. Suddenly he wasn't hungry anymore.

Should I even bother with this stupid graduation? Clearly it's not that important.

His phone buzzed in his pocket almost the exact second the thought crossed his mind. He pulled it out, opens his text messaging app and can't help the smile that crosses his face:

Ross Park -

"Dad tried to spray me with a water pistol!!"

Richard chuckles, texting back.

"For Mr. serious martial artist, Adam sure has a sense of humour"

RP -

"He's really not as funny as he thinks he is! >:<"

Richard almost dropped his phone.

"I'm sorry, Princey, was that supposed to be an angry face? Because it was so cute I almost want to pet you"

RP -

"Richie, seriously?!"

Richie just sends a laughing emoji back.

RP -

"Sorry, Mum's cutting my hair. I need to go. See you at Graduation"

The teen groaned before bursting out into laughter.

"Well, guess I'm going then. Can't let Ross be all by himself"

-------------------------------

Later on in the day at the school, a tallish girl with black hair was just adjusting her graduation outfit.

"There, perfect fit"

"Maybe, but I think yellow really isn't your colour" another girl comments, tightening her bright red hair into a bun "not really mine either if I'm honest"

A dark skinned boy in the corner was pushing the long part of his hair that was dyed a bright blue away from his face.

"Mine's too big I think...and I prefer Yellow over purple..." he says quietly.

"I dunno Axel, the purple kind of suits you, matches with the blue. Honestly though, it's like these graduation uniforms haven't changed since the 90's" the girl with the red replies.

Richie laughs walking past them, smirking.

"Well, Melissa dear, that's because they haven't!" He looks behind him, seeing Ross fussing about anxiously "what's up Princey? Why aren't you dressed yet?"

"Uhm ...I can't find it. It's not hanging up...."

"That doesn't make sense" he walks over and looks at the rack of graduation uniforms himself "it isn't"

"Oh that's a shame" the black haired girl says "maybe he should just stay back here then"

Richie's confused expression rapidly transformed into grim understanding and he turned on his heel, storming over to her.

"Where is it Alisha?"

"Who said I knew where it was?"

"You obviously do"

"Maybe it was forgotten somewhere"

Ross grabs Richie's arm.

"It's okay, drop it"
