That night went from talking to drinking real fast.

Then that drinking must've done our heads in because waking up with, once again, no clothing, was not how I expected that to go.

And I could tell it was the same guy from the paleness of the arm draped over my waist.

I could feel his chest against my back.

Every breath, a large press against my upper back.

I felt woozy as I sat up, a blanket falling from my shoulder.

His hand moved away as he rolled over.

I stretched my arms up, my back cracking and clicking and I pushed my shoulders back and stood up.

"Stupid."

I thought to myself as I lifted my shorts from the floor.

A ringing noise pierced my eardrums as I stood up and nearly immediately collapsed, waking Joshua in the process.

"Are you okay?!"

He, somehow quietly, shouted as he moved down onto the floor next to me.

Luckily he wasn't completely naked in bed like I was.

I groaned as I twisted my body to grab a hearing-aid case off of the bedside.. Desk.

"I'm fine, my legs are just sore."

"Let me help you onto the bed"

"No its fine i can do it"

"Please"

He looked at me with the most worryful eyes I had seen all year.

"It's okay, I'll do it."

I said, a bit too sternly.

His eyebrows furrowed before he quickly moved to pick me up and gently placed me on the bed, laid me down and tucked the blanket over top of me.

"Can I cook something for you?"

He asked, leaning over top of me.

"If you want, but i can do it myself you know-"

"No, you just collapsed, you need to rest."

He bounced off of his arms to straighten himself up and wandered to the kitchen.

I smiled as I looked up at the bed slats for the top bunk.

Not noticing him walk past me with something in his hand.

After about 20 minutes he came over to me with a flat bowl full of something.

"Donburi, eat."

He said, passing it to me.

".. how did you cook the rice so fast?"

"Rice cooker, you.. You own one."

"You know how to work that thing? I can't figure it out."

He laughed, biting the food off of his fork.

"I need to feed Jeremy.."

I said, placing the bowl down on the desk.

"I already did, I searched proportion sizes for him, surprisingly it came up with a lot of results."

Is there such a thing as loving someone too much because I'm starting to feel like this might top it off.

"Thank you."

I smiled slightly as I picked up the bowl again and started eating.

"You okay?"

He asked, wiping his lips on his hoodie sleeve, already finished with his food.

"Yeah, just tired."

My eyelids were starting to feel heavy at that point.

I placed the bowl down again.

"Well, it's only 5 am.."

He said, adjusting the cuffs on his sleeves.

"C'mere."

I said as I reached my hands out, gesturing to him to cuddle.

He smiled as he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer as he laid next to me.

I think we might last a while
