C H A P T E R 24

"Oh my gosh Ken. I missed you so much." A girl said as she threw her arms around Kenny. I saw Charlotte instantly roll her eyes and looked at me. I raised my eyebrow at her change of attitude.

"How do I put it in a nice way ?.. I hate her." She said only for me to hear.

"When did you come back ?" Kenny asked as he took the woman's arms around him.

"My flight landed today. I had to come here with my dad. I thought you hated such events ? Anyways I was gonna suprise you at the apartment tonight." She said and I immidietly chocked on my drink.

Everyone's attention was now on me as Charlotte kept rubbing my back. Kenny took over and rubbed my back worriedly as I coughed. "Babe, are you okay ?" Kenny asked as I stopped coughing. I saw the girl's eyes widened and Charlotte grinning at her reaction to Kenny calling me babe.

"Yeah." I said as I pecked his lips. I swear Charlotte looked like she could do a happy dance right now. What the heck is going on between them two ? Most importantly what the heck is going on between this girl and Kenny ?

"Hi I'm Jessica." The blonde girl said as she tried to break the contact between me and Kenny. I moved away from Kenny and took her hand. "I'm Blue." I smiled at her.

She looked at me up and down bitterly as she took her hand. It's always gotta be the blonde ones.

"Jessy, this is my girlfriend Blue. Blue this is my friend Jessica.

Okay he calls her Jessy and she calls him Ken. Petnames - got it.

"Girlfriend." She chuckled. "Anyways, I gotta tell you about my trip Ken. You won't believe what happened.."

I zoned out of their conversation and drank my wine. Charlotte was also talking to Jake so I just stood there like a statue.

I decided to go to the bar to get another glass of wine. I didn't even bother to tell Kenny. He looked to be enjoying whatever this Jessy was telling her.

Wait- isn't this the Jessica that threatened Thing 3 at work to stay away from Kenny or she'll get her fired ? This explains her nasty glares !

"Can I have red wine please ?" I smiled at the bartender.

"Wow." I heard a male voice say and I looked at the guy who just sat infront of me. He had brown curly hair and a dimple. He looked my age. Kenny is only three years older than me but he looks atleast seven years older because of his height and physique, his broad shoulders and mascular body.

"Is your name wi-fi ? Cause girl I am feeling the connection." He said as he looked at me.

"Ewww, don't ever say that. To any girl for that matter." I responded.

He shrugged his shoulders disappointedly. "And C said it would work." He mumbled to himself.

I laughed at him. "Yeah this C doesn't want you to get a girl."

He laughed too showing his cute dimple. "My name is Junior and you're beautiful."

"Well. I'm Blue, not beautiful." I smiled at him.

"Blue. See not all of C's strategies are a flop. She taught me that one to get a pretty girl's name."

"If I didn't want to tell you my name then I wouldn't have. Junior."

He chuckled. "I saw you with my sister earlier ?"

"Which one ? The bitchy one ?" I asked annoyed that he's Jessica's brother. I thought we could be friends. He's nothing like her, I'm a good judge of a character and I know that this Jessy, will be a problem.
