HAROLD POV:

As we enjoyed our ice creams, Kiara giggled and said, "You and Rachel should get married, and then we can all be a happy family." I couldn't help but chuckle at her innocent suggestion, glancing at Rachel, who seemed amused.

The three of us continued spending time together, creating a bond that felt surprisingly natural. Kiara's playful insistence on the idea of a family made me reflect on the possibility of finding love again. Maybe, just maybe, Rachel could be the one to mend the wounds left by the past.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over us, Rachel looked at me and said, "Your daughter is adorable. I'd love to spend more time with both of you." My heart skipped a beat, and I felt a glimmer of hope for a new chapter in our lives.

As we walked back home, Kiara held both our hands, blissfully unaware of the complexities of adult relationships. It dawned on me that sometimes, unexpected beginnings emerge from the most innocent perspectives, like the hopeful imagination of a 5-year-old.
