Matty settled into the vinyl chair at the edge of her kitchen. His sweater splashed some colour into his face.

"Seeing as how the video is released at midnight tonight, I was wondering if you would like to have dinner in." Blair smiled before handing him a warm mug. "We could have a little celebration."

"That also sounds lovely." She leaned against the counter that separated them.

"Just you and me." He looked at her across the table, peeking through the thick curls the fell into his eyes. "Does that also sound okay?"

"Yes, I suppose that would be alright." Blair couldn't help but egg him on with a joking sarcastic tone.

"I mean, seeing how well the video release went," She turned back to see Matty stifling a grin. "Just in case you were wondering." The music video was released at midnight. Blair saw a few messages from her friends congratulating her on the accomplishment, but hadn't watched the video herself.

Even Ronan reached out with a curt "nice one xx" despite the two of them watching over this project for months. Truthfully, Blair would be happy if she never had to work on a project like that again, even though it was one of her most favourite outcomes.

"Of course," she said with a smile. "I expected nothing less."

Matty couldn't help but laugh. He was nearly giddy with excitement. "And I have a little surprise for you, since you really killed it."

She quirked a brow at him while she slipped in beside him at the table and placed a hand on the back of his neck. She stood between his thighs, looking down at his face. His lips. "Oh?"

"I'd like to show you the next completed music video." He smirked up at her, breathing her in without hesitation.

"Are you allowed to do that?" Blair questioned, her voice just above a whisper. Matty's hands had already made their way to her hips, weaving his fingers into her beltloops. He slyly shook his head. "I see."

"We don't have to watch if you're too scared, though." He turned his face away coyly, puckering his lips away from Blair's face. "But I'm really proud of it."

"I'd like to watch it, if you're good with that." With a single finger, she led his face back to hers. She was staring into his dark brown eyes once again. They made her weak in the knees.

"Yes," he said instantly, latching his fingers together around the small of her back. His tone changed. "However, I have a confession to make."

Blair's head tilted to the side as she pulled Matty into a soft embrace. "Hm? What is it?"

"My dinner offer was a ploy." Blair could hear him start to smile in his admission. "I have pizza on the way and it should be here in 5."

"You always know exactly what I need," she mumbled against his lips.
